I've seen that Guitar Hero promo shot a lot lately. What's up with the stray nipple? :wtf:

That's a belly button on a beer belly...

But now we know where your thoughts are at ;)

xmiyux 10-12-07 01:08 PM

10$ for a 360 game is pretty decent. What exactly is Wartech?

One on one 2D shootem ups (think Virtual On, 2D) with cutesy Japanese anime characters and game design.

xmiyux 10-12-07 01:26 PM

Ah ok, i read the wikipedia entry and wondered if it was 2D. So is it a vertical or horizontal scroller or a straight fighting game with projectiles?

It's pretty hard to fully explain, try looking up a few videos on YouTube (you might need to try the Japanese name "Senko no Ronde"). 2D Virtual On is a good description but there's a lot more "bullet hell" shooting to it.

Giantrobo 10-12-07 02:40 PM

I've been wanting Wartech but I've been waiting to get it used so $10 is perfect.

Anybody going to GameStop for WarTech (or anything else), I found this coupon on CAG courtesy of Negative for 10% off: http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...d/stopgame.jpg

If it's a good deal for $10, it'll be great for $9!

PopcornTreeCt 10-12-07 03:06 PM

Virtua Fighter 5!!!!!!!!!!!

Darn! I already picked it up for $10 but that's cool. Thanks for the original heads up pinata242.

The sad thing is today's $60 game tag means I'll buy just about anything if it's marked $10.

Giantrobo 10-12-07 07:58 PM

Ok, I finally tried the CONAN demo and I gotta have that game! A game with blood, good old fashioned beheadings, and arm chopping? Are you kidding me?

Turns out I was right. It's a nipple. I've seen various promo shots in different magazines of the character in different poses this week. It's definitely a nipple.

Michael Corvin 10-15-07 01:31 PM

I was just glancing at VGChartz sales predictions for Sept. and it comes as no surprise the biggest game of the month was Halo. Clocked in with 3.2 million. #2 was Phantom Hourglass in a very distant second at 350k.

For comparison, they show Gears at a 4.8 million after a year. 3.2 million in a week is insane. I wonder if they can sustain it through Christmas.

I'm going to go out on a limb and boldly predict that they will NOT sustain a sales pace of 3 million copies per week. Quote me on that; it's all downhill from here.

Michael Corvin 10-15-07 04:00 PM

 Not exactly what I meant.

You either have way too much free time on your hands or you need some help....

So...any reports on how many new 360 systems Halo 3 helped sell?

Jeremy517 10-16-07 01:07 AM

Bionic Commando 2 is coming to the 360, PS3, and PC

fumanstan 10-16-07 02:19 AM

The original NES version is a favorite... i have a sinking feeling i'll be dissapointed based on the plot, but we'll see.
