I tried to download that. 1.9 gig - it downloaded over night and all day while i was at work and it was still only like 35% done. It is crazy the HD download takes so long when SD stuff flies by (even accounting for size difference).

I think it just depends on the time of day, I downloaded Jericho in HD and it was done pretty quickly.

Where do you find the schedule of upcoming releases on Xbox live? I'd like to see for the Arcade games, Movies and TV shows.

I queued up Jericho HD, the Smallville Comicon panel(1 hr), and 5 other trailers/vids and it was all done within an hour.

You hit the little button that says "Quote".

I can't find a button that says "quote" I'm not new to message boards to I know how to do all this on most boards, but I'm just not seeing it. In fact the only input I can seem to even be able to locate is the quick reply

It's probably because you are running an ad-blocker. They also block the buttons. Turn it off and you'll probably be fine.

You could manually do the quote tags:

Just change the 0 in each "qu0te" to the letter o.

I just got my 360 back from the repair center. Inside was a note saying they replaced it with a different unit so that I could enjoy playing sooner as opposed to having to wait.

The one I sent in was manufactured in August 2006. The one they sent me? December 2005.

Isn't that a month after they came out? Now all I can think of is the people that say that the launch units were the worst of the lot.

I haven't tried it yet, I mean I could be kidding myself and it may work for another year like the old one.

Sorry - just me being a smartass. All HD content will run on a SD -- it just won't look as good (obviously).

I have an un-opened GH2 w/guitar, but it was purchased about 3 months ago (don't ask)...I don't suppose BB (where it was purchased) will take it back? Does Walmart still do refunds w/o a receipt?

They do but it's considered unethical to take it there if you didn't buy it there. Best Buy is typically 90 days, so you might be in luck. I am sure w/o a receipt they would take it, but beware, it's for the lowest price in the last month or so. So if it was $29.99 a few weeks ago, but you paid $49.99, you lose $20.

Who knows if they did or not. I may have gotten a new unit that hasn't red ringed yet.

Yeah I got a Fuckin' Refurb too. Now according to the girl I spoke with, "all the units" going out, I assume that mean refurbs, have had their hardware "updated". So who knows....

BTW, "Fuckin' Refurb" is my unit's official name. So far it's been running ok but when and if it dies it will then be called, "Gawd Damn Fuckin' Refurb".

I wasn't sure if something about it would make HD content look worse than the same SD content on SD TVs.

I don't care if it's new, used, refurbed, whatever. As long as it works, and for awhile. I expect it to ring again eventually, but for now I'll enjoy it. Have a day off work today, so I am downloading the Bigs demo. If it's any good, I'll pick it up today while I am out running errands.

I also still have Overlord to play as well, about halfway through that and I love it.
