Summary - I sent in my console to be fixed. was told i'd get special treatment, was happy. Was just told they lied. They sent me Viva Pinata to make up for the lies. Down to 13 business days until i "should" get my console back.... let's see how they do.

I don't know if this has been posted in the old thread, in addition to Super contra, and wing commander added to live they dropped an extra 18 holes for 3d ultra minigolf. They do cost five bucks , and they are very hard compared to the original 36 holes it's totally worth it since it's the only game my girlfriend will play with me.

The supervisor that I spoke to tried to confirm a few things. I asked him why it is taking so long and he said it is because they are adding new heat sinks to the 360's which is taking extra time and some are even getting new motherboards. He said that this info was on xbox.com - I asked him to point out exactly where it states that.....he couldn't, but said he received a bulletin from M$ that this is what is causing the service delays and will be posted on xbox.com soon.

I don't know it that's BS or not, but I was surprised that a call center guy would go into that kind of detail.

July 5th - ROD

She said all the ones they were sending back, I assume that means refurbs since I doubt they're fixing all that many and sending the same back to people, were getting "new parts/hardware". No, I was pleasant with my CSR. I usually am unless I get REALLY annoyed with them, but I'm never yelling at anyone. Not a big deal, just would've been nice to be treated like the others. My CSR calls me EVERY two days though, that is my "special treatment".

I did get a free wireless controller with my SECOND time I sent in, so I guess my third time = nothing. Also, EVERYONE supposedly gets 1 month of LIVE free with this also.
