Exactly. So those who didn't bust me online for playing Cabela's Alaskan Adventure can still see i rented it and played it some.

So I'm looking over the list of Xbox Live Arcade games and I'm getting the feeling that I'd probably be satisfied getting a 360 just for that (well, as long as the level of quality continues). Obviously there are retail-box games I'm interested in, but there seems to be A LOT of really great stuff waiting to be had just on the downloads. Apparently Ikaruga is on its way and Treasure is supposedly working on a "Project RS3." Man, if they would only release the original Radiant Silvergun on there.. I'd be in Heaven.

My alternate wasn't originally intended for this purpose. I made a Japanese account to download stuff like the Eternal Sonata/Trusty Bell demo, and last year, the R6:V demo (since it was exclusive to the OXM disc over here).

Yep. I have auto sign in and I forget to turn that off when friends show up. They pop in their rentals and bamm, it's stuck there for good. Most recently, Monster Madness. We lasted all of 30 minutes on that game, but alas, it is there forever. There are probably a dozen I'd love to remove.

Maj. Nelson mentioned they were working on a feature to be able to remove titles from your played list to help with this problem. This was before the spring update and it didn't happen then, obviously, so maybe in the fall.

What would be the point of REMOVING titles you played....seems rather lame to me. So what if you all enjoyed Barbie's Horse Adventures

Well, other than benefiting the anal retentive geeks, Maj. Nelson mentioned that it would be good to entirely "reboot" a game to give it a little more replay value. Erasing the game from your list would also erase the points from your gamertag. So this way you play though to get all the points again.

I spend 80% of my 360 time playing Arcade games.

I'm going to guess that 5 of his favorites are (in no particular order):

Mad Tracks, Worms, Pac-Man: CE, Carcassonne, and Eets: Chowdown.

3. Uno
4. Worms
5. Bankshot Billiards
6. Geometry Wars
7. Luxor 2
8. 3D Ultra Minigolf

A similar thing that pisses me off is how you can't delete your credit card info - you can only add a new one.

I thought the last update allowed you to remove games from your played game list.

Thanks for guessing on my games...

I would say each of these games is worth a purchase (some are free):

3D Ultra Mini-Golf
Aegis Wing
Assault Heroes
Astropop
Carcassone
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Catan

Cloning Clyde
Feeding Frenzy
Geometry Wars
Heavy Weapon
Hexic HD
Jewel Quest
Lumines Live!
Marble Blast Ultra
Mutant Storm Reloaded

Outpost Kaloki X
Pac-Man Championship Edition
RoboBlitz
Uno
Worms

There are still some games I haven't bought (Prince of Persia) so they aren't on this list even if they're good. Some of these I recommend if you like the genre, the ones in bold I recommend whole-heartedly (they're among my favorites).

oh yeah, bomberman. I'd enjoy blowing some of you guys up in bomberman. Back in the SNES days, my friends and I would stay up all night playing bomberman.

We'll see if I pick up Bomberman, the demo will make or break it for me, I think it's an ok series, but I'm not dying to get it.

I still have 800 points sitting in my account, but I've been tempted to purchase Geometry Wars lately.

I've thought of this myself. There's a lot of interesting downloads for the 360 that I could see myself being satisfied with outside of the retail box stuff. And considering you can have some of these games for $10 and under, it seems way to easy to blow some cash on a few games, instead of paying $60 on just one.

However, $400 is still too much for me and with Nintendo original content downloads coming next year, I'm going to just wait and see. Here's hoping the Wii gets some of the same (or similar) games as XBLA.

Virtual Console will hold me over for now. I'm considering picking up Paper Mario... a game I've never played before.

I finally decided to get Geometry Wars this weekend. A fun diversion, but I'm not as wild on it as everyone else seems to be.

I'm horrible at Geometry Wars but i enjoy giving it a whirl when i only have a few minutes to kill for some reason. Even if i don't get to finish my game i kind of enjoy the hypnotic nature of the thing.

For the same reason i like Feeding Frenzy. Simple game, can play it in short bursts, and it is kid-safe.
