when I was out today I kept looking at building after building and calculating how many jumps it would take for me to get to the top and then I started to wonder if there were in fact any orbs up there.

another thing, I swear I hear that "low armor" warning all the time now.

I went by an apartment building today with balconies and was thinking about jumping up by grabbing the balconies. I am officially a nerd.

So I have two bosses left in Los muertes area. But the game won't tell me where they are? Where do I have to go to activate the dossier with the info?

You pretty much can just roam around and when you get near it'll prompt you. I'm guessing you're missing two of the bosses in the northern section... the car dealer, the guy at the lighthouse on the very north end, or the last boss, who's on a small peninsula/island off the west coast. The game will also prompt you at times.

I thought the demo was average at best and fully admit I only bought it for access to the Halo 3 beta. But, after popping it in, I found it very hard to put down. This is probably the most fun I've ever had with leveling up a character. I hate collect-a-thons, but leaping from rooftop to rooftop searching for green agility orbs is just fun.

Exactly. Since they serve an actual purpose in leveling up, it's not only fun, it is essential.

Can anyone tell me how to get into the building with the Volk boss Sergei Sovetnik? I tried getting in through the roof, and every floor. All of the doorways were bricked shut. Is there a pipe that leads inside?

Just in case someone considers this a spoiler:

Spoiler:
There are three switches you have to destroy before Sergie comes out on the roof. The switches have a big red exclamation point on them.

Spoiler:
There are 3-4 control panels near the building, they will come up as a red exclamation point if you look around. Blow those up with a grenade or just shoot at it, this will force Sergei to the top of his building where you can take him down.

Flay, thanks for the tip on the cars. I'll give those a try when I have the chance.

I've found driving the most difficult to level up. Though at 4 *, things go a bit easier. Especially in the SUV since you can do a

.

I've maxed out all my other skills and am at 55 in driving with 4*. So, I am close to maxing it out. I got the 2x front flip achievement yesterday after a few tries. I still need to find 15 agility orbs. I've been all over the place and cannot find them. I have about 120 more secret orbs to find. Those are difficult to find once you get all the easily seen ones.

Hey, if anyone wants to knock out the Tag Teamer achievement tonight or sometime soon, I'm game. My skills are nearly maxed, so it shouldn't take more than an hour to take down all the bosses in Time Trial.

Good to read that I'm not the only one.

Is anyone else having dreams about the game? I have a "friend" who dreams about it.

I rented the game yesterday and I'm having a blast...I may have to pick up the full version as I don't think I'll finish with a rental (and I get Halo3 beta).

I'm having fun finding al the orbs....great times. Only have 2* Agility, and 1* everything else (except driving I think)

The driving is a bitch to enhance. I've done all but one race(driving & foot) on Muertos, Volk & Agency Island and I still only have 2 stars. I'm close to my third though.

That "Goin' Home" race is driving me up a wall. The one where you start in the middle of Muertos on foot, grab a car and head to the Agency to scale the tower. It always times out on me about the 3rd marker up the building. Not the overall 11 minute time, but the time between markers. Tried that one about 4 times last night.

Do you have level 4 agility yet? I wasn't able to complete it quick enough until I hit level 4.

I've only completed 2 car races. The one by the tunnel you exit in Los Muertos is a pain. I can't complete it in time and I have 4 * in driving. Maybe I need the supercar. Ive tried to do it in the SUV since I can jump over traffic if needed.

I've only done a few of the foot races as well.

I beat the game last night so that I could spend time looking for more hidden orbs without people shooting at me. I have about 100 hidden orbs left to find.

I've got 4 agility orbs to find. I have been everywhere and looked everywhere. I cannot find the last 4 agility orbs.

I'll probably turn crime on tonight so that I can try to get my driving maxed out by running over gang members. That is the last skill I need to max to get the Master Agent achievement.

I didn't the first couple of tries, but did the last few. I guess I need to scale it a couple times when I'm not racing so that I can do it in my sleep. I get to the halfway point (landing) and forget where I need to go on the 3 towers, which kills the time between markers during the race.

I've gone about the game a bit differently than most, I would assume. I've decided to clear each area before I move on. Orbs and both types of races. So I have 150/350 orbs(blue/green), finished all the races, and defeated all the bosses. So I have Shai Gen completely untouched right now.

Every time I try to do a car race, I wind up just killing a bunch of pedestrians before I crack my car up to badly to finish the race. I'm a terrible driver.

I haven't completed any of the rooftop races, either, but I haven't tried any since I cleared los Muertos off the first island -- maybe I'll have better luck now that the "distractions" are gone.

The races are a LOT easier with the Super Car. Note I didn't say they are easy, but they are easier. The car handles incredibly. Turning is excellent and the car is virtually indestructible. I had already done a few without it, and even finished some without, but once you get it, there is no reason to even attempt some of the races without it. You can basically "traffic check" like in Burnout. You can ram into cars and they just fly up into the air out of your way. Of course this affects your cop rating. But you don't have to be as precise when avoiding traffic.

I had one race in the top have of Muertos where you take a turn on a cliff and I ended up in the water. Did it twice. Race over. Excellent attention to detail, btw. The car handled differently on the dirt parts of the race, which is why I ended up swimming.

The races should be even easier for me now. I'll still piss off the peace keepers for killing civilians, but at least I won't lose any skill points.

I maxed out my driving skill today at lunch. Started at 66. I turned on crimes and went to the first gang area. I just kept running over gang members until I maxed it out.

Once you beat the game you have the option of playing single player or co-op with crimes off or on.

If you turn crimes on, gang members will be all over the map. The bosses will not be present, but normal gang members will be there for you to kill, etc.

Finally did the "Goin Home" race last night. Scaled the tower twice before I attempted the race and had no problems after that. Got it on the first try. Time to beat was 11 minutes and I nailed it around the 5 minute mark.

Just found the Homing Missile Launcher. Wow. Almost makes the game too easy. Leveled up to 4 on explosives in no time in Shai-Gen with it. I'm almost totally maxed out now on explosives as well, that's how fast it levels you up. So for anyone who hasn't reached level 4 yet, just find the HML(forgot the in game name). I just ran across rooftops in the southern district(near a spawn point) taking out baddies on the roofs, then hit squads would show. Blowing 5 cars full of goons to smithereens from high above levels you up quite fast.

Body Juggler was VERY easy with it. I hit a rooftop full of guys sending them all flying high above the rooftops. With the homing ability it was impossible to miss. I was about 4-5 buildings/rooftops away when I did this. Very cool.

I'm getting my ass kicked by Mrs. Timbol's goons. I can't even get to her. So I have her and two remaining bosses. And only 1 star to go on driving and weapons.

I'm having too much fun with this game.
