I'm having issues on two of the Shai-Gen bosses though.
Ok, so is the double dash the final maxing out of the agility rating? And do you gain anything more from that than 4 stars? Sorry, I'm a bit confused on that one.

I'm down to the last boss in Shai-Gen, I've had some good luck in there, but that oil rig kicked my ass.

Nope. 4 stars is the max. Anything after that is just counting up from extra orbs/events that you do. It has no impact on your ability, so there is no reason to focus on getting the --. At least to my understanding.

There is an advantage to getting the --

Spoiler:

Not only do you get the Master Agent achievement for getting the -- in all 5 skills. But, each skill you max out and get to --, you do not lose any skills for killing innocent people. For instance, before you max out your explosion skill. If you toss a grenade and you kill an innocent person, your meter will display red and you lose a small amount of skill points. If you max it out, you cannot lose skill points.

I stand corrected. I thought the Master Agent was awarded when you got 4 stars in each ability.

Is there a way to improve agility other than the orbs? I'm assuming a rooftop race does this as well?

That was what I thought as well. That when you got 4* in each ability, you get the Master Agent achievement.

But you get it by maxing them all out.

The text of the achievement reads "Master Agent
Earn 4-star ratings in all five skill areas and then max out your Skills Status meters."

Once you have 4* in each ability, they are pretty easy to max out.

I found them easiest to max out in this order.

Explosives - Use grenades or rocket launcher
Strength - Just beat gang members down
Firearms - Shoot at gang members from far away, you will get some agility skill points as well
Agility - As above, also find agility and hidden orbs
Driving - Run over gang members for the biggest point boosts. Otherwise complete races and/or find skill markers.

yea, rooftop races work...

I like getting a sniper rifle and climbing to a really high elevation. When you kill someone at that height, you actually get agility points from that

Rooftop races, if you finish the race before time is up.

Also, use a gun to shoot enemies from far away. You will get a small amount of agility points.

Can you get agility points for completing the same race twice?

I think I've tried it, and I'm thinking no for some reason, or at least, I didn't notice any green little orbs pop out the second time

I wouldn't quote me on that though :/

Ok, after I played co-op today w/ a buddy, I'm sold on this game. It's awesome. So much more fun when you have a friend to bounce around with. I like the single player, but I might just only play co-op.

Does anyone experience slowdown when playing co-op? I tried it once and it was hard for me to scale buildings.

yea, theres some definite slow down from time to time. Ive noticed it particularly with someone getting a hidden orb, or the game uploading gang information to your dosier

Once a night. Sometimes it rectifies itself other times it gets so bad we have to reboot. We also had the connection drop last night. Drove off the Shai-Gen tower and right as I was getting ready to hit it kicked us both out of the game.

I experienced a few glitches last night. My partner saw two cops riding by in a cop car, but there was no car. They were floating by sitting down. One had his arms up like he was holding the steering wheel.

One enemies kept disappearing and reappearing. I would get close to them and they would disappear. I would back away and they would magically reappear. Headed towards them again and they would disappear again... over and over.

So the game definitely has its flaws/quirks. Still fun as hell.

There is a secret entrance that can be reached via the building with the red neon stripes next to Wang tower. Watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ch4hXtP_5yI

That's pretty much play for play how I did it. Even used grenades in the same spot.

It is only Agency vehicles and only after you level up your driving ability.

Nope. Each level changes the vehicles, the highest is the most powerful. I'm unsure of the differences between the levels except level 4 allows you to "hop" and drive up walls with the SUV.

Here's a vid of someone who got halfway up the agency tower in the SUV.

Here's one of the supercar changing with a 4 star rating.

This game is awesome. Was in the middle of Twilight Princess and put it down for this. Grand Theft Auto on crack!
