Check out their site for achievement lists and guides for every game out there. Look at their list of games with 1/10 and 2/10 difficulty to rack up that 1500 real quick.

I got myself a Blockbuster GamePass on Wednesday of last week, and have already gotten almost 3500 points. I'm going to try to peak 10,000 before Monday, with 2500 more to go. I've still got about 500 points to get in Madden 06, which I'll finish up tonight.

Easy game for points is Prey. You can get 500+ easily just by finishing the game. Each level you play awards you points. Pretty simple.

Does anyone know if and/or when there will be another update to the 360's backwards compatibility?
I need the following games BC, ASAP:

- Jet Set Radio Future
- Otogi 1 & 2
- Chronicles of Riddick
- Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
- Project Snowblind
- Panzer Dragoon: Orta

I thought it was said to be due this Spring. I do remember reading that the next BC update would be the last update we'll ever see for the 360.

I just picked up Advent Rising cheap because I always wanted to check it out. I'm hoping it makes the next BC list.

If you notice, there has been a pattern to the BC updates: they come out once every three months give or take a couple weeks. The last BC update was in December, so the next one will most likely be between March-April. I never read anywhere that said the next one would be the last one. Who said that?

damn. The Reward Contest signup hasn't gone live yet. I guess it is too much to hope for these things to actually go live at 12:01 on the day advertised.

I doubt I'll be one of the first 70,000. The only game I have at the moment that hasn't been started is The Godfather, and even if I can get all of those in one day (unlikely), that's only half the points I need. Maybe I'll run over to Blockbuster tomorrow and rent a couple of games. Cars, or something.

My guess is that the first 70,000 prizes will be rewarded within 2-3 days, tops.

I'm currently sitting at Level 2 (with about 8800 points). I'm thinking I might not sign up until later today, when I'm Level 3, to sign up. I'm not really worried about the prizes so much, but would like to be bumped up to Level 4 (if there is such a thing) next time.

I'm in the same position as Shagrath, but out of sheer laziness i'm going to sign up today and hope i can get in on the tshirt. The hassle of trying to get to 10k and then get another 1.5k would require more time than i think i'm going to have this week.

Doubt there is a Level 4 as I would think they would mention it already. Perhaps in the future as gamerscores get higher they make one but probably not. i just wish they would get their act together though and get the registration up. I even visisted oldspice.com on a whim but nothing there either.

While waiting on this thing to actually start I skimmed the existing page and noticed:

Which means the terms haven't been listed. It's still quite possible they nix 2K6 games from the promotion.

The achievements for Godfather and College Hoops take awhile. I'd say 20-30 hours if not more for the godfather achievements. There are some quick hits, but nothing worth more than 10-20 points. Great game though. I'm in no rush, b/c I'm not eligible for Fuzion Frenzy 2 and imagine that they won't limit the copies of Contra. Still think level two should get a bigger bump than just 100 extra MS points, how about a free copy of Bejeweled 2 or another older 800 point game.

Heh, well i'm hoping to rent a 2k6 game or two on the way home tonight.

Like I stated above, you might want to call around first to save some gas. I probably called 8 places and only 1 still carried it.

It's certainly possible, but I'd be a bit surprised if they did that. The coding and automating of this contest would be easier if they don't exclude any games, and the publishers of the 2K6 games might not appreciate having their games singled out as ineligible.

Anyway, my plan is centered around Madden 06 and NBA Live 06, so hopefully those two will be eligible. Kind of annoying that MS still hasn't updated the page yet.

Has the site not updated yet? I haven't checked during the workday yet... hopefully it is setup by the time i make it home. I want to bust out on some sports titles this evening (assuming my HV has them in stock to rent).

Anyone buy Assult Heroes?
I bought it for the Co-op and turns out not many people can get the co-op to work.
It gets stuck on the "waiting" screen.

Yeah, the registration page is not up at this time. I'm sure someone will post here shortly after it goes live.
