Try turning media sharing off under network options, I did that and Warhawk stopped freezing on me.

Has anyone here seen the This is Living - Uncut PS3 commercial posted over at GameTrailers.com? I'd link to it but it contains female nudity, a guy masturbating while watching a soccer game and lots of other weird shit. I try to stand by Sony and I hope they get their act together but I really think the money they sunk into this "commercial" could of been better spent on developing some games.

Anyone see the MGS4 trailer remixed? At the end it says 2007.

That trailer is old, from last year's E3. It has always said Coming in 2007.

Yes, it is old, but it has been remastered with an updated game engine. There were rumors that it was delayed until 2008, that's why at the end of the trailer it shows "Coming 2008" then they cross out the 8 and make it a 7.

The crossing out the 8 and replacing it with a 7 was done in the original trailer from E3 '06 as well. That is why I said it is old.

Like I said, there were rumors that this was coming out in 2008, and thus most people are happy to see that this is still coming out this year:

"The trailer ends with confirmation that the game will be coming out in 2007 - naysayers be damned."

Or perhaps Konami just forgot to update that part of the trailer?

Nope, no remastered trailer after all. Konami says that there is nothing new until E3 2007:

So Konami was not even responsible for that trailer? It was a just a fan made edit?

I expect MGS4 will be playable at this year's E3. MGS2 was first announced and shown in trailer form at E3 2000, and then was in playable form at E3 2001, and finally released at the end of '01. MGS3 was first announced and trailers shown at E3 '03, and then was playable at E3 '04, and was released at the end of '04. If MGS4 keeps the tradition, it will be playable at this year's E3 and come out the end of this year.

2006 and 2007 comparison, there clearly is a difference.

Yeah, I saw some of those pics at Kotaku.com and don't care why Konami says it's the same trailer: I just want this game to be released soon

I'm having trouble with media sharing on my PS3, can anyone help?

When I open WMP11 and go to media sharing all that comes up is my 360;

My PS3 doesn't even show up.

Anyone know?

So I was checking on the release date for Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and discovered that they're also releasing a Collector's Edition for $70.

Gamestop says "This Collectors Edition will be a 2-disc set with special hi-res packaging, a behind the scenes DVD from Team Ninja, and special codes to unlock Ryu and Rachael mission modes."

First of all, the cover art isn't nearly as good in my opinion. Second, $70? Come on now, these aren't the days of Nintendo 64 cartridges! And third, I'm sure this is just another way for companies to determine if gamers are willing to shell out even more money for standard games in the future. I know Spidey 3 had a collector's edition that was supposed to be pretty crappy.

Definitely picking up the original version...

EDIT: And "special hi-res packaging??" Come on now!

Shoot, I'm in for the hi-res packaging! That's why the PS3 is so much greater than anything else... you don't see Wii games with hi-res packaging (or retailing for $70 for that matter)...

I almost expected this to be a budget title. Wasn't Ninja Gaiden Black cheaper than $50? I guess the PS3 has few games as it is, and there are a few upgrades, but geez...

$10 more than the standard edition is the norm for these things.

I think I will pay $10 less for the blurry low res packaging.

Shit the mission modes were free as part of Ninja Gaiden Black on the Xbox, and now they are making you pay extra for them? Greedy bastards.

I think the difference is Black was advertised as a "director's cut" while Sigma is advertised as a "remake".

The "special codes" part makes it sound like it's already in the game, you just need a code to unlock it. The codes should be online within minutes of the game going on sale...

at least, I hope that's what it's saying. Meaning you're really paying 10 bucks for the dvd and the special hi-res packaging, which is par for the course, I guess.

Video gaming is becoming way too expensive. We have a $600 console and $70 "Collector Edition" games are starting to become normal for every big game release. Makes me wonder if we could possibly be on the verge of another market crash similar to what happened in 1984...

The good thing is this is a Gamestop exclusive. Maybe they will order way too many like they did with the FFXII collectors editions and I can buy it new in 6 months for $30.

Yeah, that "collector's edition" is crap. The missions are in the basic game, you just have to unlock them by...playing the game!

Can't wait for NGS, but I'm avoiding the Collecter's Eddition like the plague. The only CE I ever bought was Jade Empire, and it was the same price as the regular eddition.
