thank you Pinata for clarification... nope, the capacity has nothing to do with processing, i know that.

What i meant to say, definitely opening old wounds here, there are a lot of wrongs in the past two years regarding what's being said about the PS3's potential. I'm just glad that i'm not on the wrong side of the fence .

Ocelot - please have an informed mind before running your fingers on the net. Disc space has nothing to do with how many items can be rendered on screen.

Actually, correction, probably nothing (as in the article), but indirectly, capacity does. For example, say you can do 20 images on screen, but with bigger capacity, you have tons of images to select from. Anyhow, i'm not trying to correct anything. All i'm saying, the PS3's potential is starting to show, capacity or not, doesn't matter. All comes down to "take gaming to the next level" and i'm all for that.

back on topic.

Ray Parker Jr. is in! Apparently the devs were considering a modern take on the classic tune but were vehemently shot down by everyone they polled. Everyone insisted on the original. I'm glad some people have their heads on straight.

Your logic is whack.

Ocelot, you know that you can have 1 image rendered a million times and that you don't need a million distinct images to have a million rendered on-screen images, right?

I don't know why I keep getting sucked into this like Slimer over a trap...

I sure hope that we can see the OG Ghostbusters game like I played on the C64 included with this release or possibly updated for XBLA/PSN.

Imagine that. Developers working on a Sony owned IP prefer the PS3.

I really hope this game delivers. Hell, I hope they don't stick to a release date if they don't have to, if only to make sure this thing is as awesome as it can be. Since we're never getting a Ghostbusters 3 and this has to suffice, I want it to rock.

I really hope this game doesn't have First Person Shooter controls, looks like it does. I absolutely HATE using the right stick to look and aim.

I have never considered buying the PS3 version of a game over the 360 version but I have already canceled my preorder for the 360 version of this. I am waiting for the final word on which one is better.

Because of the sixaxis controls? The video looks amazing. Is there some sort of big difference between the 2 consoles?

I don't really bother with the motion controls unless a game absolutely requires it. I grew bored with optional sixaxis controls long ago. I'm just worried since they are making the game for the PS3 and then porting it over to other systems. Maybe it won't cause any noticeable differences but I want to see which version runs and looks the best.

I don't know, the video looks good as far as what's happening and all; but other than that, I don't see anything in that video that says it will be significantly better looking than the 360 version. I'll bet the reviews will state that both versions are more or less equal as far as how they look.

I bet that at the very start of the game, they explain how since this is a new model of pack, they've "fixed" that dangerous issue.
