But that's what I like about it as I don't really give a shit about others opinions and just like to get a general feel for a game I may be on the fence about checking out. I've never been compelled to read these long ass online game reviews very often.

Wii Sports continues to motivate people to stop by a bit early to get a bit of playing in before moving onto other events, and beyond that it is a bit surprising to me how much people enjoy messing our creating Miis.
Other than that I have gotten through the first three temples in Zelda and it certainly reminds me of Link to the Past of OoT in overall feel. Scored my first hole-in-one in Wii Sports Golf today as well on the second hole and if not for the sixth hole I would have had a record -3 game.

I think I'm finally set with all my Wii hardware purchases.
Have the extra Wiimote and nunchuck I got at launch, a 1 GB SD card I picked up cheap in the office max deal I posted, found the S-video cable over the weekend, and finally got my hands on a Classic controller and tried out the VC with Gunstar Heroes (which is great).
I already have a 1051 GC mem card, a Wavebird and 1 wired GC controller so I should be all set except for buying games from here on out.

I just discovered that my laptop has an SD card slot (its an E1505) right under the place where you plug the sound cord in. I transferred photos and had fun with the photo channel today . Some people may have even received some of that fun too .
P.S. I managed to order another Wii Remote from Amazon when they had them in stock a few days ago. All I need now are the rechargable batteries and I think I'm all set. Thanks for the suggestions up above guys!

Yay.. My Component cables from the Nintendo Store shipped on the 7th even though I just got the shipping notice today. Hopefully they arrive today or tomorrow. They were in IL as of the 11th, and that was the last update.
IL to MI shouldn't take more then a couple of days.

Thought some of you would find this interesting, don't know if it's happened to anyone else: I took a few Wii games back to Target (unopened of course) and the person behind the counter started refunding my money but the manager came up and said "no!". She made the cashier OPEN up all four games and mark them as damaged. She said they had to make sure the games were still in the cases. Now, I can understand the reasoning (sort of) but to open ALL of them? And who has one of those expensive wrapping machines sitting in their house, this isn't a cheapo shrink wrapping over these games either... They did refund my $, I was just very shocked when she started ripping into the games.

Heh my buddy made a Mii of Kim Jong Il (and a few other communist leaders), they look spot on. Great as secondary Guest Miis.

My only thought on why they'd open all the returned games and make them as damaged is that they already have too much stock of those games, and by marking them defective they can send them back to the publisher and get their money back as well.
i.e. they don't want to get stuck with them sitting on the shelf.

wow, that would be pretty insane, considering you get to make your own pattern designs in all the games, which could equate into you making your own shirts for your Mii characters

Maybe that particular Target has been getting empty game cases returned that looked professionally shrink wrapped? Still seems odd though in any case.
At least the person got their money refunded.
