I was just checking GameSpot to see if they had any info about the Japanese event to be held in a couple hours. They don't, but they do have a story on their main page about their editors' predictions for the upcoming announcement. In the past, I've used their site for information quite a few times, but some of these predictions seem really, really bad to me.

Hasn't it been confirmed that TP is a launch title? And doesn't everyone in the industry believe that the console will launch before the PS3 (Nov. 17)?

While I hope he's wrong about the price, these predictions aren't tooooo crazy. Until you get to the last sentence. Seriously, is anyone expecting that big of a title to be packed into the launch console?

Again with the post-PS3 launch prediction?

Some of the other predictions are a bit more in line with what I'd expect, but I was surprised to see the big guns at such a large site making predictions that go against pretty much everything I've heard to this point.

Yep, just saw on www.gonintendo.com that it does indeed start at 9 a.m. there (8 pm est here) so it should be underway!

I'm just checking back after dungeon romps in Gurumin.. if it heats up I'll quit the game.

Just saw elsewhere that the actual conference should start around 9 pm EST, as the first hour is just meet and greet etc. with the actual presentation or whatever at 9.

We shall see I suppose.

Oh.. well I've got about 1-2 hours of reasonable awake time left.. just put the last of my laundry in the dryer so I'm at least staying up until that's finished.. I guess I'll know another dungeon or two out in Gurumin now, I think I've cleared about five since sitting down for all this.
