ok ill set it up but i need to know how many people are interested in joining. also how many games does everyone want to play. i think we should just try this out and do a quick 8 or 16 game season. ill also set it up for 7 day game intervals to give everyone ample to get their game in. so once i know how many are interested i will create the league.

added: It looks like an online live draft can be done, which then creates the league rosters on the game ... I'd love to do that if everyone would like. If not, maybe next time.

I'm in with Chi Sox. After play ten offline games I really suck at hitting.

I will be in, in a second, once I pick up the game. I probably won't get around to it for another week though. Maybe I can get in next time. I agree, if you do it, and can draft players, that would be really cool.

So, any tips on hitting? I was using those sliders and they sucked...I could not hit at all. I defaulted back to PRO sliders with a few tweaks. I did a little better last night, but still cannot generate many runs.

2K Sports has finalized a solution that solves the “freeze” issue in Major League Baseball 2K6 for Xbox 360 that is occurring with some consumers. An auto update is currently in compliance testing at Microsoft. 2K Sports and Microsoft anticipate the auto update to be available early next week on Xbox Live, free via the Xbox 360 Live Silver service that comes with every Xbox 360 bundle.

Listed for reference are the temporary work-arounds that may still be used until the auto-update is distributed. (Disclaimer: These methods may not be 100% effective):


1) Remove or disable the HDD

2) Load three different Xbox 360 games to the main title screen of each game then load Major League Baseball 2K6 on Xbox 360. All three Xbox 360 games must be completely different before loading Major League Baseball 2K6.

Same here. I just got MLB '06 for the PS2. That is a fun game, but I can hardly look at it after being spoiled by the 360 in HD action.

What about some of the other quirks in the game? Something about a baserunning glitch.

ya i canned the league for now. there were only three people in it. but if more people are getting it i can restart it. i just didn't think anyone was interested. I'll post the link to league when i recreate it.

I'd be down for a league as long as it doesn't require to difficult a time in getting games scheduled.

ya I actually have them. You can join the league without the game technically. just click on the link i posted above and searc for the league. I would suggest doing this to get a team you want, BUT it's not like there's a stampede of people waiting to get in.
