I guess when I get home tonight, I'm going to have to delete a lot of stuff off my HD and then start downloading. I cannot wait for the Uno demo.

I'm curious about people who download the movie/game trailers, do you d/l the 480p or the 720p files? I always go for the 480p since they are smaller and only takes a few to get them.

My connection is 3mb download speed. I always go 720. I can't download hi def trailers on my pc because of hardware limitations, so I use my xbox 360 for that now.

I have a 6mb connection so its a fast connection. I guess I should also say that for me its also about storage as well as the fact that I can download two or three 480p trailers in the same time as it takes for one 720p. I can keep three 480p trailers instead of just one 720p trailer. right now I think I have 8 demos on my HDD plus a ton of music so my space can get pretty limited.

Awesome, thanks!

Is the TD:Unlimited demo Live enabled to give us a real feel for how the game plays?

It is, but I got a message saying the Test Drive servers were down.

The single player is god awful though. Crap graphics and worse gameplay.

Man it sucks that you can't keep all these trailers and demos why did they only give us a 20gb hard drive.

Do you have to do anything special to prep a harddrive or is it even possible to get one of those standalone USB external harddrives and hook it up to store content on?

you cannot store content like gamesaves and things on an external drive. Only music/pictures as far as I know. You must format the drive as FAT32.

I think when they decided on the size, they didnt' think people would store and keep a ton of demos and trailers on their HD indefinetly.
Where I've seen people filling up the HD is by ripping music to the HD.
Gamesaves take up very little space.

I don't know why they didn't go with a much larger drive, esp since 100 gig drives are very cheap now. heck, 200 gig drives are pretty cheap as well.

Hrm, well that is still good to know since i have a decent amount of music ripped to my xbox harddrive. It would be nice to be able to store trailers and videos on an external one though.
