So now that the Kameo patch is finally out I need to remember who the heck I added to my list ages ago so we could finish the co-op levels if/when the patch was released. I can't believe I actually held onto the game for this long because I've been tempted to trade it in countless times.
Do you have to beat the game completely to have all the co-op missions unlocked? I remember while playing the single player portion, one of the game messages that popped up said I unlocked a co-op portion.

If so, I guess I need to go back and finish that game before I worry about playing the co-op game. But I am interested in those when others are going to play them.

Wow, I really enjoyed the Tomb Raider demo. I haven't played the series in a long time (since III on the PSOne) so I loved the new moves (ledge jumping, rope climbing) and visuals.

IGN has their review up for this (8.2), and they mentioned that the game does suffer a framerate drop if you're running it in 1080i.

I'll have to try it out tonight...I run in 1080i so hopefully the framerate is not bad. It took me 4+ hours to D/L the demo so I never got a chance to play it.

A little tip for people who download from Xbox Live considerably slower than their normal download speeds.

Cancel the download if it's moving at a snail pace. Start it up again, for some reason it will jump to 50% (% is wrong) but it should move a lot faster.

It generally only takes me about 5-10 minutes to download any demo.

Some excellent news for you 360 owners, japanese games are on the way! The main thing i noticed n the announcement was SNK and Konami making games for Xbox Live Arcade. If i start seeing some KOF games released to play over live like the SF2 is being planned, in HD, then i will go and buy a 360 as soon as they become available. Microsoft will have put out the "Killer" app ive been waiting for, online fighting games in HD.

P.S. - If they release X-Men arcade game 6 player over X-Box Live, they will be truely catering to a whole new crowd from the previous xbox. Go konami, GO!!!

That NEVER works for me. I think the progress bar is just a suggestion. I've had a few demos D/L decent, but most lately have taken a LONG time. Pisses me off. There is a BIG thread on xbox.com forums, but the admins cannot really help with it.

ALSO, PAC-MAN and GALAGA will be released for XBLA.

They need to just release a laundry list of games that are due out, not this 1 & 2 at a time BS.

I've tried to get more info on upcoming titles, but the PR guy is pretty tight lipped. I'll keep pressing for info.

What they really need to do is make Killer Instinct 3. Then I'll have absolutely no ability to stay on the 360 fence anymore...

I was pretty bummed when rumors of a new KI game didn't pan out. I like fighting games but there have only ever been a few that have really held my interest enough to purchase and play on a regular basis. I haven't bought a fighting game since Tekken 3 but a KI game would change that.

Ya know, even if it was a port of the original arcade versions of KI and KI2, I'd be foaming at the mouth, and drop $400 here and now. I'm still thinking of getting one. But I might wait and see if they release an HD-DVD version at a price drop.

Fresh news: (Slashdot)
"Lucent has filed a lawsuit against Microsoft, demanding that they pull all Xbox 360s from the market. Lucent claims that Microsoft has violated their MPEG2 patents which they claim they patented in 1993." While it's unlikely console will be pulled from shelves, it's one way to generate some publicity.

There may be a good reason no KI game ever made it to the Gamecube or arcades. I recently found an old KI machine at a hotel, I spent about 30 minutes playing it. The game has not aged well at all. This is coming from a former KI diehard. Without some serious changes in the fighting dynamics, a KI game today would not be very worthwhile IMO.

Great. I rented Burnout Revenge last night, but didn't get around to playing it until this morning. I put the disc in, and got a message saying it could not be read because the disc was dirty or scratched. I took it out, inspected it, and didn't see anything major. I wiped it down multiple times to get the smudges off (why do people touch the disc surface?) and it still doesn't work. I hope Blockbuster allows me to exchange it for another title.

I was freaking out yesterday when I tried to download an update:

I popped in Splinter Cell 2 for the first time into my 360, and it asks me if I want to download the update. I click on yes, the download bar comes up, and nothing happens. At all. I try this multiple times. Pressing B doesn't really cancel out of it, so I had to reset each time. If I declined the update, I could still play the game (I guess I got the earlier compatibility update), but couldn't log into live.

Finally, I decided to pop the disk out and try updating with another game. As soon as the disk was ejected, the download resumed and finished within seconds. Anyone else experience this?

this happened to me over the weekend when I tried getting Battlefront 2 to play. But I waited a few hours and it worked.

Doh.. I missed my chance at newegg.com to get a new router. The rebate they were offering is no longer in place. Guess I have to wait a little longer until I find a good price on the D-Link DGL-4300 router.

Edited to add:
I was bored so I figured I would try it. It wouldn't install the first few times I tried. Then it did install but it wouldn't get past the connecting screen. I removed and installed it again but it still didn't work. Oh well.
