So now that the Kameo patch is finally out I need to remember who the heck I added to my list ages ago so we could finish the co-op levels if/when the patch was released. I can't believe I actually held onto the game for this long because I've been tempted to trade it in countless times.

If so, I guess I need to go back and finish that game before I worry about playing the co-op game. But I am interested in those when others are going to play them.

Wow, I really enjoyed the Tomb Raider demo. I haven't played the series in a long time (since III on the PSOne) so I loved the new moves (ledge jumping, rope climbing) and visuals.

A little tip for people who download from Xbox Live considerably slower than their normal download speeds.
Cancel the download if it's moving at a snail pace. Start it up again, for some reason it will jump to 50% (% is wrong) but it should move a lot faster.
It generally only takes me about 5-10 minutes to download any demo.

Some excellent news for you 360 owners, japanese games are on the way! The main thing i noticed n the announcement was SNK and Konami making games for Xbox Live Arcade. If i start seeing some KOF games released to play over live like the SF2 is being planned, in HD, then i will go and buy a 360 as soon as they become available. Microsoft will have put out the "Killer" app ive been waiting for, online fighting games in HD.
P.S. - If they release X-Men arcade game 6 player over X-Box Live, they will be truely catering to a whole new crowd from the previous xbox. Go konami, GO!!!

Fresh news: (Slashdot)
"Lucent has filed a lawsuit against Microsoft, demanding that they pull all Xbox 360s from the market. Lucent claims that Microsoft has violated their MPEG2 patents which they claim they patented in 1993." While it's unlikely console will be pulled from shelves, it's one way to generate some publicity.

Great. I rented Burnout Revenge last night, but didn't get around to playing it until this morning. I put the disc in, and got a message saying it could not be read because the disc was dirty or scratched. I took it out, inspected it, and didn't see anything major. I wiped it down multiple times to get the smudges off (why do people touch the disc surface?) and it still doesn't work. I hope Blockbuster allows me to exchange it for another title.

I was freaking out yesterday when I tried to download an update:
I popped in Splinter Cell 2 for the first time into my 360, and it asks me if I want to download the update. I click on yes, the download bar comes up, and nothing happens. At all. I try this multiple times. Pressing B doesn't really cancel out of it, so I had to reset each time. If I declined the update, I could still play the game (I guess I got the earlier compatibility update), but couldn't log into live.
Finally, I decided to pop the disk out and try updating with another game. As soon as the disk was ejected, the download resumed and finished within seconds. Anyone else experience this?

Doh.. I missed my chance at newegg.com to get a new router. The rebate they were offering is no longer in place. Guess I have to wait a little longer until I find a good price on the D-Link DGL-4300 router.
