Good news for those who haven't bought the Toshiba or can't find one. This could give the HD-DVD format a boost......I hope.

Where I've seen people filling up the HD is by ripping music to the HD.
Gamesaves take up very little space.

I don't know why they didn't go with a much larger drive, esp since 100 gig drives are very cheap now. heck, 200 gig drives are pretty cheap as well.
That's because the drives you're talking about aren't laptop drives. This HDD is a laptop drive, which is more expensive.

A 20GB HDD is still ridiculous though.

Doesn't say much, mostly an education piece interspersed with PR fluff (i.e. usage of words like "ecosystem"). No price yet.

Agreed it's a propaganda peice on why HD-DVD is a better choice than Blu-Ray. Yet it fails to mention Blu-Rays positive points of course saying basically they are Identical but Blu-Ray cost more so buy HD-DVD.

The part I found Comical is that there will only be 150-200 HD-DVD titles by the end of the year! wow that's really sad they need to start pumping these things out quickly. Establishing a content library goes a long way to winning a format war.

I'm sure more will come if people adopt the format. Some people are JUST getting DVD players....so, give it a few years. I'm sure studios don't want to pump out discs that don't sell.

Anyways, back on topic.....sorry

E3 is fun

Well it could have been a matter of it not supposed to be there yet. The date listed in the above mentioned list is tomorrow. Maybe someone got to eager and uploaded/made it accessable too early.

I downloaded a couple of trailers last night and they downloaded very fast. I've never downloaded any before that, so I don't know what the speed was prior. But from what I've read, downloads took awhile.

http://www.360voice.com/blog.asp?tag=Darth%20Creepio

Darth Creepio needed a friend like me yesterday... I could see it in his eyes. I am there for you brother. Remember that. That is a gain of 70 points over last time! He played Oblivion gaining 3 achievements, Oblivion gaining 3 achievements, and oh... man was it ever sweet!
I love these blogs. Very funny.

Lost Planet is very nice, definitely going on the to buy list. Graphics and sound effects are pretty stunning to say the least, especially the explosions.
Kind of reminds me of Starship Troopers in the snow.

I'm excited to try Lost Planet out. On my 1.5 down though it will take a while - perhaps i'll start it overnight before bed.

It was only available for about an hour earlier this morning, someone released it early. I think it should be back on tomorrow.
