MARTIN5 & i were playing today and went from ones to fives in a few hours it was fun, i thought by now everyone would be back up to where they were before they cleaned out everything, but a couple games we just plain died.

Yeah man at this rate we are going to be level 20 by the end of the week. Damn it's fun tearing up these low level players. Speaking of shitty players when are you gonna play with us Buzz. :p

wow, I must be on at the wrong times. I can't beat anyone. I'm barely at a level 2 now.

Well Chris get on tonight if you can and we can play some TS BeanDip and I are decent enough to level you up. Shit yesterday we played a TS game on Ascension against a bunch of level 1s and 2s I think I had 16 or 17 kills and 3 deaths my best streak was 13. I think you're just getting stuck with too many other people who actually belong at level 1 or 2. Some of these players are just plain bad. Although in all honesty I have my moments as well. We were playing on Beaver creek or whatever the hell it's called and Bean got pissed at me because I was frustrated and kept running into the other teams rockets. Needless to say we got stomped and then got a good smack talk after the fact.

I'll be on sometime around 7:00 Indiana time.

A question about Rankings...

I know that on Crimson Skies when you kill a player with a higher ranking it's like a big deal. You get many point and the Higher ranked player gets dinged for letting a lower level kill him. Right? So a lower level player is better off going after higher level players insted of "easy" lower level players. IIRC.

Is HALO 2 the same way?

No not just for killing higher level players but in rumble pit for example you don't have to win to up your ranking so long as you beat players who are ranked higher than you so if you are ranked 3 and you beat a bunch of level 7s but still get beat by a couple level 9s you will get a boost in your ranking even though you didn't win the match. The same thing works in reverse of course. But when you play TS or BTB it's all about winning or losing.

Chicken Fud, Gatorstomp and I will most likely be on a good bit this evening

We are still getting our arses handed to us, but are up to between 6s and 8s in team slayer only. This whole re-do has really f-ed me up. As soon as I learn the battle rifle / plasma pistol combo, they nerf it.

If you ask me the combo is even more deadly now. You have a much larger area to do damage on with the BR, and it even lets you know when you will get a head shot by putting a red dot in the middle of the scope when aiming at the head. The pp is unchanged from when the game first came out also.

Blood Gulch feels a wee bit more difficult now that EVERYONE starts with BR most of the time, and the alien weapons are gone. And besides, the new black is the Plasma Pistol/Melee combo.

Edit: I may have misused the term "nerf" vs. "removing". My apologies.

oh, yea.. now I see. When I see "nerf" I think making it less useful, or easier to use.

If I could ever get the damn melee to work it would be awsome. It is starting to be like the shottie for me and connects when it wants to it seems. Charter sucks for internet connections on live!

so we cannot get over the level 6 to 9 hump. I think there are still tons of level 24s who are listed as 1s and 2s on team slayer, and they just keep handing us our asses. Oh, and drinking doesnt really help our skills.

I apparently missed out on some new jump cheats on Zanzibar to get on top of the base and on top of the sea wall (right above the sniper rifle). Bastards.

So with grenades and the battle rifle coming out of the re-do as the shizzle, I am having to restrategerize my whole playing style, and it is not going well. I tend to be a runner in, and I am just getting wasted. My new rule is: never have grenades left when I die.

Am I the only one who feels like grenades have added an element of pure chaos to the game, making every game feel more and more like king of the hill?

The sea wall? Oh wait yeah the first wall where there is a snipe and some plasmas. There isn't any cheat to get up there I snipe from there all the time, it is like a turkey shoot. Anyway I should be on tonight if you guys want to play. Around 10PM EST (Indiana) time. Don't feel bad about getting stuck at a lvl, I'm stuck at 13 now in rumble pit and I just haven't had a good run to get to 14 yet.

Me and my extreme statements
 

After a busy morning of googling, here's what I've found so far. BD, you were right, not a 'cheat' on Zanzibar

Super bouncing is still able to be used, and can be done at multiple maps.

1. First one at Zanzibar (the most easiest) Go to the second level gate side of the red base.
2. Break out the window all the ways the is closest to switch and gate.
3. There will be a point og glass that is left that cannot be broken, you crouch and walk into the chard of glass still in the wall.
4. The glass should be holding you in the crouch position.
5. Try to angle yourself closer to the edge and angle into the glass shard.
6. Begin moving forward, your screen should slightly shake after like 2 secs of it shaking press the jump button and you should jump from the broken window and down infront of the gate (inside red base) If you did it right as soon as you hit the ground you will be sent soaring into the air and be able to land on top of base. (good for sniping).

Burial Mounds super bounce:

1. This is the hardest of them all, and requires a partner.
2. Go to the covenant snp respawn, youll see a seat looking thing that stiks out from the wall. Have a person jump on top of the seat.
3. Have another person who is going to preform the jump jump on top of that persons head and onto the orange wall, there is a little ledge you can crouch on.
4. Find the furthest you can go on that ledge watch to not fall off.
5. look into the wall and walk into wall like in zanzibar one then press the jump button and you should jump back off wall infront of seat (not on seat) and, then if done right when you hit ground it will send your soaring on top of the level.
6. This is good for assault games you ca hide the bomb up ther until enemy base is clear to arm.



Zanzibar hiding place

1. This requires 2 people and is very easy. Go to where the shotgun is near sniper rifle area on the sea wall.
2. Jump on top of the sea wall clasest to the water.
3. Have your partner jump on your head and you double jump to get hmi up on the ledge.
4. You can hide up there in a corner wher the only palce peopel can see you is from the water at blue base.
5. Good for hiding from standbyers on slayer games.

You can do the super jump on BM with just one person. I have done it three or four times, but it is a total pain in the ass. Same with Asencion. You can do one there also that will throw you up on top of the sniper tower, a place that the banchee cannot even get to. While I have tried that one for hours, I have yet to get it to work. I bounced once, but ended up missing my landing and fell off the map. :(

hey guys what are some times you might be on this week/weekend?

When are you going to be on Bean? Friday, Saturday or Sunday night and about what Eastern Time? I've been off this week but trying to take of of "House" things. I did buy a DVD recorder for my "B-Day" and still haven't made the first recording. Maybe I can figure a way to record a Halo game where I "Kill The Hostages" again. Hint Martin!!!
