Well HOWDY!! there Martin. You know I hate to admit it but I haven't touched Halo in about two months. I was having on-line issues left and right which turned out to be a bad line coming from the pole. And of course the yard and house takes all my time now. I got bogged down with UC2 in Story Mode and still am. I'm playing Team Death matches to get my wins back up. I still haven't beaten the part where it's Anubis vs the three Devastation droids in instagib. I hate cheat modes but I swear I'm about to use it for this one level.

I'm still undecided on the Halo disc since I haven't played but I do miss those nights of true live team playing especially with Pete and his gang. How can I ever forget "Fight Club". That was the best laugh I've had all year. I do have those first maps that were released earlier this year but that's it. Man I'm so freaking rusty I probably need to replay Halo 1 all the way thru just to get a hang of it again. I'll check back here and LIVE in the next day or so and see what's up for the weekend. NO Friday since that's the new season of SG-1, Atlantis, and BSG on Sci-Fi channel.

ah get the disc come on get it get it its only $20. anyway the new maps are very cool. the 4 that were out plus a few more.

You know I play all day with a bunch of random assholes just waiting for other from the clan to show up so I can play a real game. As soon as I get a party invite to a clan game my wife comes in the room and starts just chatting it up with me. I finally quit and put away my game, controller and headset....and she says she is going to bed. GRRRR!

I'm really happy with the map pack so far and it really helped me get back into the game. I can only hope they offer something else in the near future when the 360 arrives. It would be great to have a few added maps included on the included 360's HDD or have another download option. I can dream can't I?

I enjoyed the games last night. It felt like old times. I took a break for about 2 months and looking forward playing some games with you guys. I played some rumble pit yesterday and some kid had his death rock playing on his headset. I'm glad I'm back in the DVDTalk clan again. So, who is the team killer now, lol. I'm going to pick up the new maps today, so see yall hopefully tonite. Send me invite if you see me.....

The new maps are pretty cool actually. Just got the multiplayer map pack to tinker with. I think my favorite so far is the swamp stage and the new covenant ship stage.

okay update great to see the guys back in paradox you might wanna check your connection, it was fun playing with for a couple minutes at a time! hope that gets cleared up. anyway had fun hope to do it tues night as well.

It was weird, as soon as Beandip left, Paradox's connection was fine.

And what was up with Martin5. I finally get to shoot him for like 5 min. then he leaves. It's been months since I saw him get online.

it was fun to get back into the game last night, sorry to be the cheap bastard without the new map pack. Gotta get my bearings back, although I was never that good to begin with.
