I've been playing Halo since it first came out, but only recently switched to XBL. I'm still a newb, since I don't know the maps or where the weapons are located. But I am a team player and I play with honor.

I've been told, 'you suck.' 'You don't know what you're doing.' 'Get the hell out...' There are some real d1cks online. I'm looking for some teammates that will be understanding of the matter.

The truth of the matter is that I am a veteran of Halo and it hurts my pride, dangit...

i tried, but i couldn't find one anywhere so i got myself one of those new samsung 23" LCD TVs with the 3000:1 contrast ratio aweeee i'm so excited i'm waiting for the fedex man to bring it. i've been playing all the time usually the A/V geeks at school have an xbox there so i just log on while they're doing stuff. my box works 99% of the time now. but i'll have a 360 as soon as i can find one at the store. anyway is anyone from here playing? you should start playing again buzz.

Ok, ok ...I got that point Martin and yea you're right. I keep on blabing I'm going to try to make it on and never do. Honestly though I didn't see your invite while on UT-L. I usually leave it on then eat dinner or hope on the internet to check something. Besides I thought you "did" get a 360 in which case why care about us lowly "Xbox" owners?

Sounds like Bean is going to be in "LCD" heaven. Don't know much on the Samsungs but I do know the Sharps Aquos sets kick serious booooty! The 23" is a good little set. It's a WS right?

Alright I'm in for a round or two of Halo. Hell I'll have to read the manual again just figure on how to move and shoot. Of course we could opt for custom games which always are the best. Let me know when (hopefully the weekend).

IMHO Samsung is making by far the best TVs for the average consumer today that 23" sammy that Beandip is getting is no exception the thing is beautiful 3000:1 contrast ratio every input known to man;) 720P/1080i, I'm actually thinking of getting a bigger model in the same series in a few months. If you want to see one Buzz go check out one of the official 360 kiosks.

I'm definitely down for some halo on Friday night or Sunday night, I'll be gone on Saturday. I haven't gotten a 360 yet but that's simply due to the lack of availability, as soon as I can get my hands on one I will. I wasn't fortunate enough to be able to camp for one and by the time I figured out EB wasn't going to call me about the preorder they'd already taken way too many names and I knew they wouldn't be able to fill preorders. But hell even the guys with 360s still play halo.

The Sharp Aquos TVs are bad-ass. I wouldn't put any major manufacturer in front of them. The Samsungs are pretty good, too, though.

Well I know for a fact the Sharps are top notch. I might as well "spill the beans" by saying my daughters boyfriend does HT installs in homes now and use to install all the HT stuff in the big tour buses here in Nashville. Some of the buses would have (8) tv's! They put a 52" or 48" in the back, about (6) small ones (22" to 27") in the middle and the driver would get one (18" to 22"). The large screens were either Sony or Pioneers and the small ones were always the Sharp Aquos.

Hey Martin the night you caught me playing UT-LC was the first I've played that game in about three weeks. In the last two months I've picked up Doom 3 CE for $22, Star Wars Battlefront for $13, Call of Duty-Finest Hour for $13, and this week Brothers in Arms-Hill 30 and Project Snowblind each for $9 at Media Play. Not bad for a little more than the price of one 360 game.

Duster & Buzz - I agree with the Aquos props, but I'm so partial to Samsung for some reason :) Love those TVs and cell phones and ......well you get the point
