Okay so that's cool and all but what the hell qualifies Wizard for a halo2 update that Hang em doesn't have? In fact if I had completely forgotten about this map until that walkthrough. WTF I would have rather seen Rat Race even.

I am going to go out on a limb and say it would be a sniper fest on that game type now. Before if you picked up the sniper you had to work a bit to get back to your base as if you just jumped down you would die. Now, you just jump off, and head back to your base and pick off anyone who heads your way. There is nothing but open space between the bases, so that makes it very hard to go from one side to anouther.

I would much rather play wizard then Hang em High IMO.

That wasn't really the point I was just saying why out of all the maps would you remake the Extremely tiny "Wizard"? It seems pointless to me. Why not make one of the maps from PC...........there were some pretty sweet maps on that game that were much larger and very fun to play. In fact it seems to me that the halo 2 maps sort of went the way of those maps.

First I'd still like it if Hang 'em High was back. That map was so open you knew who sucked at the game and who didn't. Bang Bang Bang you're dead!

But the fact is any new maps will work now, as the game is loosing its edge. I'm sure the online punks will find out some way to cheat on the new maps too.

Right on man those are two great maps, and what about some to the Custom edition maps.........didn't i read somewhere that they were thinking of redoing a couple of the more popular custom maps? How cool would it be for your map to get an official release on Halo 2!!!

I never knew that Halo for the pc had diffrent maps then the xbox did. Sweet!

Oh Man!!! you really screwed yourself then, because you've spent too much time playing Halo2 to go back and play the original on PC, it just won't be fun for you but yeah basically they have all the maps from Halo Xbox plus like 10 PC exclusive maps, then a little while into it they released Custom Edition and released the map editor, and people made all kinds of really kick ass maps. It was an absolute blast while it lasted.

man i gotta say i'm sorry to the clan members, i've been busy not to mention playing the new unreal game all the time. i'll be back on halo this next week, but if you got some extra cash get the unreal game its a blast.

Well I owe "Duster" an apology for not getting back per "invite" Monday night. I had been playing of all things "Unreal" and left it on while eating dinner. I sat down for awhile to catch part of a show and dozed off big time. It wasn't till hours later I saw the message sign in the window. So sorry Duster. I wasn't ignoring you I was just out of it.

It looks Like Bean and others might try to get on Wed. night. I'll do my darnest to if I don't crash again. That "Unreal" game is turning my whole sleep cycle upsidedown. I haven't even downloaded the new stuff yet so I need abreak from UC2 anyway.

That's weird....I never saw anything but I was really only on long enough to download the maps and then I had to log off. I'm off for 6 days starting on Friday so I can certainly get some gaming in while I distract my wife. She has a West Wing season to watch so maybe she'll be occupied with that.

hey guys does anyone know where you can switch a setting to ignor a user? there is a guy on here that is a flamming troll lover and i'd like to ignor him and everything he post?

on a more halo 2 note, i jumped into a game mental had going the other night he was just checking out one of the new maps Turf. anyhow there are two soda machines on there one is red and one is blue and one has the teeth and the other has the rooster. its the logo from Red vs Blue the cock bite thing. kinda cool.

Bean, all you need to do is click the guys name, and select view public profile. Once that window opens up you will see the option to ignore the person on the right side of the screen, just below his screenname.

yeah we ran into that the other night. we were playing the new maps, but someone didn't have them. that really sucks how that works. we could have had a few more clan members in the game. anyhow we'll have to do some playing without them for you guys who aren't going to get them. get the free ones though they are cool too.

Oh break down and buy them - it's only 6$. The two pay maps are awesome and it makes me really sad to have people leave or get booted because they don't have all the maps. That combined with my total aversion to only playing on Warlock for hours ;)

blah blah blah, I'm going to be playing a lot soon, but right now it's a real pain in the ass to get on so I've just been playing the single player on UC2. I'm planning on moving on the 14th so I will schedule the cable guy accordingly and hopefully I will be able to play whenever I want within a couple days of the move. I'm not going to be able to play on Friday cause I'm going to Indy, I don't know about Saturday for sure but Sunday night I will probably get on, get the maps, and proceed to shoot Beandip in the face over and over again.

You did fine. It was good seeing you on the other night. :) And yes, you should definitely buy the pay maps. They are both hella cool. And I always feel bad when it's time to say "Okay, we've played Warlock 18 times in a row, get out so we can play the pay maps." :D
