Re: Big Brother 13 (CBS)
I'd recommend not theorizing stuff, at least non spoiled, based on things that haven't been aired in the regular TV show thread. Some folks don't follow the feeds or BBAD.

From what I've seen so far, I don't think there are any firm alliances in the house. JJ and BR are probably the tightest, but the whole situation seems very fluid. I have no idea who will be voted out.

She's something. It's just too bad she smokes.

The broadcast show hasn't even caught up to the feeds going live. I don't think there should be any talk of things actually going on in the house.

Re: Big Brother 13 (CBS)
If you watched that episode and thought Keith and Porsche seemed really kind of stupid then you would be correct.
Keith's confident diary room tales don't AT ALL correspond with his maniac paranoid ramblings in the house. If he wanted to stay on the block b/c he was "sure he had the votes" perhaps he shouldn't have spent all that time prior to veto trashing Lawon all around the house trying desperately to get him on the block. Keith is an idiot.
Of course, Porsche is not really all that much better. Her arguement to Kalia to keep her (it will never make TV so this is barely a spoiler) was basically that she wanted more TV time so she could become more famous.

It looks like Rachel hasn't learned anything from last season. She never understands why she would be a target, but then throws her challenge wins in people's faces and threatens them in the first week.
I just went back and watched season 7 (all-star season...never saw it) and it just highlights how bad these returning players are at the game. That season was awesome.

Then again, I saw Keith telling Kalia about his pre-game strategy of aligning himself with three young women (aka the Russell strategy) and calling them Keith's Angels.

All I've got to say at this point is that Brendan makes me want to puke. Can the guy be any more wimpy? What's his name? Pookie?
Jeff seems like the only normal one on that side.

Cassie is in real trouble. Rachel hates her. No real reason of course. She's just assigned feelings to Cassie most likely b/c Cassie is just so much prettier than her. Rachel has been in Jordan's ear about Cassie for a few days now, and Cassie hasn't done herself any favors by not spending that much time kissing the vets ass.
Either way it will almost certainly be Cassie, Dominic, or Lawon going home this week. Odd are probably in that order.

Re: Big Brother 13 (CBS)
The reason that Rachel doesn't like Cassie is because she's been working Danielle all week. Danielle's a free agent for the next few weeks, immune from eviction, and Cassie has been trying to chip away at the Brenchel-JoJo-Danielle alliance. Of course, even without that, she'd still probably resent her, but...
It also definitely hurt Cassie that she didn't kiss Rachel's ass and was mostly straight forward in their few game talks.

So the shittiest BB winner is now going to be the only two-time winner. No one ever votes out the furniture, so they might as well give her the money now.

I think Jeff/Jordan are smart enough to realize Rachels irrational hatred of Cassie is a good reason for them personally to keep her around. Dominic is in the most trouble .

Cassi's probably in a good position to make it to the finals.
Adam might be in a good position as long as he doesn't make too many waves. While the couples play is still in effect he has Dominic to take all of the heat, and Dominic's probably toast.
Kalia could be a dark horse contender. Dani and Porsche aren't in bad positions either, being the low people on the Brenchel/JeJo alliance. Rachel and Jeff will draw more heat than those two and get targeted by people like Adam and Cassi.
Shelley and Lawon are cannon fodder.

No matter what they do this week the words Jeff, Jordan and smart do not belong in the same sentence w/o a negative qualifier.
Not that the game is ever really fair, but how unfair was it that Rachel got to pick the order last night. It went according to their plan. Jordan took the lead, and Brendan and Jeff threw it to remain eligible for HOH next week.

With Keith gone it probably ends the regulators alliance. Lawon, Cassie or Dominic will be next to go this week. Then after that it seems like this season will get past this idea of newbies versus veterans.

Re: Big Brother 13 (CBS)
But the point is Jordan had clinched it with a 3 and the vets do want their strongest players available next time, especially with Dani not eligible. Now Jeff, Brendon, and Rachel will be eligible next week. If Jordan had been beaten, she would have been 1 of the 3 next week and, despite her good fortune this week, I wouldn't want to count on her too often. Honestly, she doesn't even seem like she's happy to be there. She looks like someone who is satisfied with 1 win and who probably agreed to play because Jeff wanted to play again and she just decided to spend her summer with her boyfriend.
I like the noms and hope they stay the same and the target goes home.

Surprised no one has mentioned Julie's awkward question to Danielle. That was just wrong.
And what was up with that weird kiss Shelly blew during the live vote? She looked really odd.
Just saw who is nomiated. I'm assuming
is the target, is that right?
I really wish it would have been all new players this year. And the golden key thing is just another horribly conceived twist. I have a feeling this may go down as one of the worst seasons. It's just a boring ass dynamic inside that house. I think Jordan's boredom may be contagious.

I'm not enjoying the season, the new cast has a few interesting choices but I think it's one of the worst. It might have been better to have all new people, but I love "me" some J and J, so I'm not complaining yet.
Anyway, it's still early, maybe things will pick up. They usually do. However, this show is better when you can watch BBAD and follow the feeds or spend a lot of time reading things at Joker's. I don't have that kind of time anymore, so this is my first season in a LONG time where I'm seeing the BB edit as my main source of what is happening in the house and Grodner is worse than the MTV people in manipulating the audience.
So, I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be a bad season. The ratings have been down too. But if Jordan wins again, I will be happy no matter what. As of now, I'd also be happy with Jeff and Dani winning. Non of the newbies have won me over yet, but Cassie (not because of her looks) might be a good player if she can get the target off of her back. I think she's high up, as of now, on the list of targets for the vets. She needs to survive until the vets break up, but she plays really hard.

I hope you're right and it does pick up. I think the new cast would have been completely different if they were in a house with all new people. I think having the vets in there has affected them a lot.
Are you recording After Dark? I've got last night's episode (7/14) on in the background and Rachel and Brendon are having another one of their cringe-worthy fights. I haven't been watching much After Dark either, but you might want to check this out. They're fighting about plastic surgery and something else that isn't supposed to be brought up in the house (assume it's the cyber sex thing). It's one of those train wreck moments that I can't look away from.
It starts about 1 hour in if you're interested.

Had BB not casted Brenchel in this season, my interest level would be higher, but as it is, until Rachel is out of the house, my interest will be subdued, very much so.
