Well, the point is that she didn't; the feeds weren't off that long. We saw on the show that Shelly was listening at the door waiting to come in and pounce. I thought maybe there was a confrontation in the kitchen or somewhere in which Jordan fled to go the purple room and then the feeds came back on. Clearly, Jordan, Rachel and Adam had been in the purple room for several minutes, and Shelly was in the back crying b/c she had been outed as a liar.

Not everything is an editing trick. Given the edit Shelly could have gotten tonight, she got off easy.

Maybe Jordan said something nasty in passing. Maybe Shelly overheard Jordan say something while she was listening outside the door. The point is, we have no way of knowing, so you can't say this edit proved anything.

Shelly heard Jordan say that she (Jordan) felt stupid b/c of all the nice things that she had said about Shelly and that Shelly was probably laughing at her in the DR. Then Shelly came in and pounced. Like I said, the feeds weren't off that long, and the TV show proved that it wasn't part of some ongoing arguement. And, in my opinion, based on what we saw I think Jordan wanted to get out of the room to be alone or at least with people who weren't celebrating.

However, even if Jordan had said something right after the show had gone off the air there was still about five minutes before Shelly came in and "attacked" based on something a teary, angry, slightly humiliated Jordan said to Rachel and Adam. I know you don't like Jordan, but I also don't think there is any other honest interpretation.

I never said that's what I think happened. I'm just saying that tonight's show did nothing to prove your initial thought wrong. If there was something else that happened, AG would never give her angel a bad edit.

How did we get the diary room session by Jeff after he was evicted? He talks about double elimination in his DR session.

^^^ I thought the same so I looked back at the footage on my DVR. Jeff doesn't mention he's been evicted or that he's out of the game, he makes a generic/hypothetical 'Shelly has betrayed me' and 'double elimination' type of statements that he could have made in DR (as answers to hypotheticals asked of him by the producers) at any time before Thursday's live show. My guess is the "BB" editors went through all diary room sessions they ever did with Jeff this season (they're all archived/digitized and a click of a keyboard away) and came up with the best soundbytes they could from what they had shot prior to his eviction. They had between Thursday and Sunday to put last night's episode together, so it flowed seamlessly-enough to make it seem Jeff was commenting on his own demise.

Or after the eviction they snuck Jeff into the DR, taped a segment or two and then took him to Jury... I don't freakin' know!

And as the "BB" announcer and producer mentioned (the latter on twitter) these were the show's first post-eviction flashback/behind-the-scenes-at-live-show segments (which took almost half of Sunday's show) they've ever done. Most shows are packed and don't have time for flashbacks, but since Jeff was clearly a fan favorite and Shelly's betrayal coincided with the departures of Daniele there was just too much juicy stuff in that footage (most of it not seen on feeds) to let it go to waste. And ratings prove people loved it: last night's "BB" tied the NFL Sunday night pre-season game on NBC (here).

Everyone in the house was expecting and preparing for a double eviction, which they all thought was going to happen the following week.

They could have done one of three things.

1) After his eviction, they sent him back into the DR. There are exits in the DR that go into and out of the house, so they could have gotten him back into the DR without going back into the house.

2) They set up a fake DR somewhere else. Probably wouldn't be that difficult.

3) If you watch the feeds or AD, you'll know that they do a lot of DR sessions. Everyone assumed that a double eviction would be coming up, and they've all been planning and strategizing for it for weeks. They could have asked all of the houseguests "what if" types of questions about the presumed double eviction and edited the interview from there.

Darn, every time I see this thread pop up and not the BBAD one, I'm disappointed there won't be any spoilers, gossip, or news of any kind of what's going on in the house.

I'm surprised that over the years no one from these threads has ever applied. Just hearing what the process is like, assuming you make it past the first stage, would be an interesting stories.

But I just have a feeling Dino in the house would be a guarantee of fireworks from day 1.

Well, karma is a bitch and Shelly's big game move boomeranged and hit her right in the noggin'. For once the two people who deserve least to be in house are on the block (Jordan has at least "won" an HOH) and the drama is guaranteed to continue for the next two-and-a-half weeks. Yes, producers bringing back an endurance POV competition (has there ever been one before?) that was the same type of endurance that Rachel won in her only HOH of the season (replace dummies with bananas) practically handed her the veto. Hey, watcha gonna do? I'm surprised that Kalia outlasted Porsche and Jordan; the girl eats a ton but she can also hang tight... just not tight-enough to alter the underdog-veterans-coming-from-behind-against-all-odds script that Allison Grodner wants her "BB" show to follow.

I've never been a Rachel fan but damn did she look good in that Veto dress.

I haven't seen the show yet, it will air in about 30 minutes, but the one surprise from watching a bit of BBAD is that I do think Rachel can look really hot. But I actually think she looks the best when she's not overly made up. With her bombastic personality and that laugh, you add a ton off make up and she looks like a skank imo. Which is how I've always viewed her.

But I've seen her chatting, and boy do her and Kalia talk way too much, with her hair up and wearing more comfortable/cute/casual clothes and she's looked pretty sexy. I've NEVER seen her that way before.

That entire competition lasted as long as I thought it would take for just one person to drop.
