Each person that leaves speaks about the amazing things they learned. Do they have cooking classes when they aren't filming to learn culinary arts? If its just what we see then what they "learned" they already knew.

I couldn't believe David thought you had to soak nori. In what?!?!?!

David Martinez is a talentless hack. How he made it this far in the competition is completely beyond me. I loved it when Gordon called him out for speaking in Spanish to him.
"Hey, my name isn't Martinez it's Gordon Ramsay."
Kind of sad to see Stacey go. If she had finished the roll I'm sure it would've been Beck/David up for elimination instead.

That was a bummer in last night's episode with Stacey.
I mean she totally choked in that Sushi challenge. Absolutely no excuse for her being so ditzy and wasteful of time. I think if she managed to get the California roll done in time, David Martinez and Becky would have lost and Martinez would have gone home. Stacey was a pleasant surprise this season especially since Joe initially voted no on her in the auditions.
Okay, I'm concerned about Christine. I still love her, but she has not impressed me at all in the last 3-4 weeks. She seemed like a darkhorse favorite at 1st. Her cooking has been spotty at best recently. Her handicap is starting to hurt her in this competition.

Yes, I'm worried for Christine. But it's simply amazing that she is still there. So much of the tasks have as much to do with beautiful plating as the cooking itself. To handle a sea urchin or live crab in itself is amazing -- but of course Stacey would have to do something as intricate as the topping on the california roll (I think they called it tobiko, but it looked like masago), had they made it that far. It truly is a victory for her no matter what.
I think they know people are rooting for her, as she is crying in every preview! I believe they recently stuck in a crying Christine into a preview and it wasn't from the next episode.

I have a feeling Monti is going to win. She always manages to pull off challenges everyone expects her to lose, and they've done a good job of selling her as the stay-at-home single mom with an edgy side. You have to choose based on who'll sell more cookbooks, and right now it's either her or "the blind chick".
Christine would have been fucked on the egg challenge, I think.

Now on Hell's Kitchen he'll bounce a cook out if they bring him a pan and the handle is hot and they don't tell him as the handles shouldn't be hot if its on the stove correctly. But a stock pot over an open flame, its going to be hot.

If I am unfortunate enough to lose my vision I am applying for MasterChef and my 'helper' will be Joël Robuchon.

Bump
New episode tonight
FYI, FOX renewed it for a 4th season today.
Hell's Kitchen was already renewed for 2 more seasons prior to the summer season.

Wow, an actual filler episode for this show.
A little surprised that decided to give a contestant a 2nd shot. Glad that Josh pulled off the tart despite how slow he started off. I would have been fine with either him or Stacey coming back. Ryan is such an arrogant douche. He really needs to change his attitude if he expects to get off unemployment and get hired in a restaurant.
at Marti trying to sound all "Food and Wine" sophisticated analyzing the tart.
I absolutely love how even some of the eliminated contestants shit on David Martinez.

So, they let Josh back in and he goes straight to the bottom 3, yet they kick out Felix? I'm pissed. David still sucks. Guess I'm routing for just Christine now.

That was wrong, David had the worst dish even by what the judges said. And Felix should have also been judged on her past dishes. Josh or David should have gone before her by any measure. And she was also the cutest.

Yeah, Felix seemed like one of the strongest competitors and they seemed to hate on David's dish a lot more than hers. Was very surprised they booted her over David.

When it came down to Felix and David I knew I couldn't lose. I was tired of seeing David and his attitude almost as much as I was tired of seeing the over applied red lipstick she wore. If she'd put something on her eyes she could have gotten a clown job at the circus.

David should have been voted out based on being a fucking idiot and forgetting the rice to start. No excuse for that.
I would have given Felix another week. She's definitely a stronger cook than David.
His "Rice Pudding" if you can even call it that looked horrible. Looked more like a porridge. I liked how Joe basically said to him that his opinion of the food doesn't matter.

I agree with what everyone here has said. Felix should not have gone home at all. Martinez definitely. Especially when his dish seemed far more unedible than hers.
And next week it looks Ramsey convinced Fox to not get in the way of his home hosting the Olympics because both Hell's Kitchen and Masterchef are reruns for both nights.

1. Felix
2. Anna
3. Christine
4. Rebecca
5. Monti
And David has to go home next just because if he had any honor at all he would have thrown himself on the grill after they picked Felix and slowly raosted himself to death.
Delicious.
