Law and Order: Original 12/1/04

I like how new guy signed the wired guy's death warrant by saying in front of the guy they were trying to catch that his help was appreciated

Could someone give me a recap of what happened last night?

Due to Jack and Bobby's apparent over-run last night L&O didn't get TiVo'd.

Thanks.

He seems to be doing it every few episodes. Last week he threatened the bartender in the Russian social club in pretty much the same way.....

Yeah - I rolled when Fontana (Farina) did that.

It was a decent episode, although I am getting kind of tired of how many episodes Dick Wolf uses the War on Terror and Iraq for ideas.

One of the weaker episodes IMO.

Law and Order: Original 12/8. Has a continuity issue

they listed Cragen as Lt. in the credits. He's a captain. I could understand a screwup if he hadn't been on since he first left the show, but he's a regular on SVU

What a lame episode. I was expecting so much from the return of Dr. Lowenstein (David Groh) from the S1 episode Indifference.

On the bright side, T-minus 2 episodes until the Rohmbot is turned off, hopefully for good!!!

I know her acting style hasn't changed much but I actually used to like her when she was in Angel. I'm silly, I know.

And it still did not make her character interesting.

Law & Order, 1/19, week 1 A.R. (After Rohm)!

Fluency
Spoiler:
When nine flu victims suddenly die, Green and Fontana learn that all had been injected with a fake vaccine, which leads to the arrest and prosecution of a longtime con man.

Introducing Annie Parisse as ADA Alexandra Borgia.

So I wonder if she is a closet bigamist or into beastiality?

Another one "ripped from the headlines".

Looking forward to see how the new ADA fits in. Judging by the zillion previews I have seen, she makes a boo-boo.

Well, the preview from last week was really misleading as to the "boo-boo" Borgia made. I agree that they overdid it with the consecutive sentences.

As for Annie Parisse... UPGRADE! I guess the good thing about Rohmbot is that they won't make a mistake with the casting like that again.

NBC misleading viewers? I'm shocked.

Annie is definitely a upgrade. The delivery of lines is much smoother. Her expressions are better. In other words, she looks and acts human. Not to mention, she's quite a looker. No, she's no Angie Harmon, but she has that Mediterranean look that I (and apparently Det. Fontana) love. Her picture is opening credits is very nice.

Good episode too, although the judge allowing McCoy's speech comparing the defendant to Orson Wells in The Third Man was laughably ridiculous.

She's definitely an improvement over Rohm.

I like her. I agree that she definitely has better expressions than Rohm and she actually seems like she's on par with Jack wit the way that she carries herself even though she is a rookie DA.

"Law & Order" won the 10 p.m. hour for NBC with a 10.2/17 as it welcomed new cast member Annie Parrisse. A repeat of "CSI: NY" was second at 7.3/12. ABC's "Wife Swap" posted a 6.9/11.

L&O is slowly but surely putting the latest CSI in its place.

But that's comparing a brand new episode with an introduction to a new character to a rerun.

Hardly a fair match.

I was watching that speech figuring that they must've jumped to closing arguments without me realizing it.

Consecutive sentences is a bit ridiculous, although IRL, it's more than likely he would've only been charged with a few of the manslaughter charges anyways (holding the rest back in case the first trial didn't go well).

Yes but L&O has been beating new episodes of CSI:NY since December. CSI:NY was beating L&O before that, but from what I have heard, CSI:NY just isn't winning over CSI fans (I thought the pilot on CSI: Miami was horrible).
