I completely forgot about her. It seems as though she replaced her. But Lancing was in the Pilot episode and then was replaced Cruz for the rest of the season. Maybe she'll be back, I dunno.

News on the ratings front isn't so good:
Things are more gloomy for White Collar though, it continued to drop, last night to 3.7 million viewers and a 1.0 rating with adults 18-49 — the same 18-49 rating the season premiere of The Colony pulled on Discovery.

Thought it was best show of this season (granted that's not a lot of shows).
It's always good when Neal gets to ham it up... I liked the plot device of him being in the course syllabus.

Yeah, the show has been really good so far this season. I'm sad to hear the ratings aren't better.

Natalie Morales left the show and I think she's on Parks and Recreation now. I don't think they explained what happened to her character on the show.

So is Marsha Thomason a regular or a special guest star kinda deal? I ask because the general season two ads keep featuring Natalie Morales but she's been totally MIA this season. I wonder if there'll be a mid-season switch.

Nice to get a Mozzie-centric episode. Lots of great moments: Agent Jones as a Scarface-style hood, the elevator stall tactics, Mozzie getting the gun from the bad guy. Good episode all around. This cast really works well together. (And it's always nice to see Diane Farr on my TV screen.
)Does anyone know the name of the actor who played the main bad guy? He's great at playing villains and I've seen him before, but I can't place him.

For those worried about the ratings, you can breathe a sigh of relief. Numbers were solid last night.
4.1M viewers watched and 1.7 in the 18-49 demos

Loved the episode. Mozzie is great.
I was thinking the same thing, his name is Jacinto Taras Riddick. From his IMDb, I must've seen him in a Law & Order episode, I haven't seen anything else he was in.

Yeah, I must know him from his L&O work. There's not much on his imdb resume, so maybe he mostly does stage work.

White Collar -- "Unfinished Business" -- 8/10/10

Synopsis:
Spoiler:
Episode 5 of 16
There are 4 more episodes left this summer.
I just spent the last 3 weeks getting caught up on 10 episodes from season 1 (recorded the all-day marathon on season premiere day) and watching the 1st 4 episodes of this season. Finally caught up going into week 5. This is probably my 2nd favorite USA show behind Burn Notice. All the characters are awesome including Neal, Mozzie and Peter. Love how they mix weekly capers of the week and keep a serialized plot as the back focus of the show.
I was kind of surprised that Natalie Morales left and Marsha Thomason returned this season as a fulltime cast member. They never even explained what happened to Lauren. Also, why isn't Jones (Sharif Atkins) credited as a regular? He's in every episode.

BTW, I did notice the really weird Green Screen shots in 2 episodes with Peter and Elizabeth eating. I don't know what the intention was there...even if they were trying to cover Tiffani Thiessen's pregnancy, but those scenes were painful to watch.

It's completely jarring. They should just write the character off the show until she can return full time and let the woman have her baby. Geez, the green screen was awful.

They keep complaining about the green screen scenes over at TWoP, too. Maybe it's just my inferior eyesight, but they don't look that bad to me. Obviously, they filmed all of Tiffani's scenes at once, and it was faster/cheaper to use a green screen and fill it in later rather than change sets for each scene.
I do miss the Elizabeth character. It was refreshing to see a healthy, happy marriage on TV, and El's interactions with Neal and Mozzie were fun.

I saw Tiffani on George Lopez and she said she had to do green screen scenes in LA because, due to the pregnancy, she couldn't fly to New York to film.

Enjoyed this episode alot. As with most of the previous episodes, it was a fun plot with good dialogue and interactions among all the characters. I liked how they portrayed Sara as some sort of thorn in Neal's back from the past. However, Jon Pyper Ferguson was kind of a weak villain. They didn't really get into his character enough for me to care about him.
It was cool seeing Hilarie Burton from One Tree Hill again and especially nice seeing her play a different character after so many years. I know most of the guys here who commented in the One Tree Hill threads don't really like her, but I've always been a fan. She looked really good, especially after having a baby recently. If you don't already know, she's dating Jeffrey Dean Morgan and he's the father of her kid.
Another episode and another weird green screen shot with Tiffani Thiessen. Is Elizabeth still out of town? It would be so easy for the producers to just shoot her scenes outdoors at any random area in Los Angeles and it wouldn't matter if she was in NYC or LA. You really don't need to be insistent on keeping her behind key landmarks. To me these scenes look really amateurish.

Good episode. Definitely the best summer drama (Lie to Me is close second). I like how consistent this show is, they bring quality episodes every week, it's not like a lot of shows were there's one really good episode followed by three or four mediocre episodes.
So far I've enjoyed this season more then the first. The Kate sub plot last season got annoying, now it's essentially gone.
