No shit!
I will be seriously pissed off at this show if that character dies.

Re: White Collar -- Summer Finale -- "Point Blank" -- 09/07/10
Good finale with a nice little cliffhanger.
Since the episode already aired on both coasts, I'm going to say it's doubtful that Mozzie will be killed off. He's Neal's right hand man and helps him and Peter on all their cases. I would be genuinely shocked if they did, but since the show is only in it's 2nd season, it's doubtful.
BTW, it was nice seeing Alex again so soon.
I would love to see her again in some capacity as long as it makes sense.
I like the introduction of Paul Blackthorne's character as the new recurring villain. He should be a nice addition to the recurring storyline for the last 10 episodes of the season. I like how this show follows a similar pattern with Burn Notice and does cases of the week and keeps the recurring story arc as the backdrop and maybe throws it in the 1st segment of the show and then the last.

Paul Blackthorne is the new "it" man for the geek fanbase.
Seriously, he's in everything. LOL I wonder if Butcher actually liked him, rather than the show.

If they kill off Mozzie, this show is dead to me. But this is a USA show, not The Sopranos, so he'll make it.
Nice (summer) finale. We see Neal's con man instincts come out and used against the FBI. The scene where he and Mozzie were "aging" the files was great. It'll be interesting to see the fallout with Peter.
at Neal putting the anklet on the dog.
Thanks. I thought that was him, but they showed him so briefly I wasn't sure. He'll make a good villain.

The ep was ok except for the lame standoff with Fowler. The whole sting made Peter look incompetent, but worst of all was the showdown with Neil. It had zero dramatic tension because there was no way Neil was going to pull the trigger, not unless they planned on changing the show from one about white collar crime to one about a con man doing 25 to life in a federal penitentiary.

^^ I guess I kind of agree with this about Neal's confrontation with Fowler. It was not only out of character for Neal, but the end result was predictable and fell flat. But, as Fowler did say while he was under interrogation there is more than just him being involved, especially now with Blackthorne's character being introduced.

Yay it's back. This was one of my favorite shows last summer. I follow Jeff Eastin's Twitter page and they have already started working on season 3.

Either my cable guide was wrong (Verizon FIOS) or everything is running an hour late on USA tonight. My guide had White Collar at 8 pm Central and then a rerun of Royal Pains at 9 pm. I started to play my DVR recording of White Collar and I'm seeing the last hour of Indy 4 (starting with the jungle jeep chase sequence), with a tag at the bottom that says White Collar is up next.

Whoo hoo! Started WC and made it a marathon back in December to get all caught up. Can't wait to see if Mozz pulls through.
Hopefully they wrap up the music box story by the end of this chunk of episodes. The whole plot getting deeper and deeper, and more convoluted the further it goes along. It's very reminiscent of Burn Notice that way.

That was a fun opening episode. The resolution to the cliffhanger with Mozzie was very predictable though.
I really like Hilarie Burton on this. I hope they continue to make Sara a recurring character on the show. She and Matt Bomer have good chemistry.
at Peter pursuing the assassin on horseback.
Neal: "I will pay you bubble"
Black Guy: "Double?"
at Mozzie's care package from Elizabeth with the straws.

Great to have this show back. Mozzie surviving was predictable, but otherwise I thought it was a fun start to the season.

She has some fantastic legs and a wonderful ass. But what really got to me were her gorgeous eyes. Where in God's green goodness did they find such a beauty?
EDIT: I just Googled her and can't believe I didn't recognize her. Her name is Alexandra Daddario. She was Annabeth in Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.

That makes sense, she's kind of creepy hot with the killer bod and amazing eyes but something about her face makes me think she's a 14 year old girl with braces.
As for the ep. Kudos for them making the ep, although the results seemed mixed to me. It seemed a bit rushed to have everyone's backstory combined in one episode and that made the story feel thin. Even though they included a couple of "and then I did a bunch of big cons for a while" moments, I felt like overall it damaged the Neil Cafferty super-criminal aura. And if they are going to have Andrew McCarthy be the big bad for the show or even the season, they could have fleshed out him and Neil's relationship a bit more. In the end the ep seemed to be more about Kate, which was fine.
