I knew they were going to blow her up. As soon as they showed her face peeking out and Neil not moving as said "Boom!"

USA ran an all-day marathon today. I missed most of last season as I got reallly backed up on shows. So I recorded all of it and will probably be ready for episode 2 next week.

Hi everybody- I've never seen this show before, but love Burn Notice. I noticed that the first post mentioned Tim Matheson directing the season premiere. I know he has acted in and directed a number of Burn Notice episodes. Is this a series you'd recommend to a Burn Notice fan? Thanks for your advice.

I don't know if you can really compare this to Burn Notice. IMO they are really nothing alike other than both being produced by the same studio (FOX) which is probably why Matheson is directing.

If you like Burn Notice I would say give it a try, but I wouldn't make any promises. Personally I like BN a lot more. They are similar in that they usually involve a weekly con against some type of criminal and they have similar overarching "who burned me?" mystery storylines. BN has a lot more action and the Miami setting. White Collar is more "48-hour"-ish criminal/cop buddy movie.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Sounds interesting. I think I'll give it a go and check out the premiere tonight, even though it sounds like Burn Notice is a little more in my wheelhouse.

Pretty good start to the 2nd season.

Tiffani Thiessen was looking really puffy due to her pregnancy during filming (she just had the kid last month I think).

I hope that doesn't mean we won't be seeing much of her this season. I'll take puffy Tiffani over no Tiffani.

Loved the premiere, and I'm glad they got off to a running start instead of spending a whole lot of time dealing with last season's cliffhanger. The cases of the week are more interesting to me than the bigger overall story arc.

It was very obvious that they were filming her lunch with Peter scene in front of a green screen, and maybe it was just that, but something set off my spiddy sense about the aspect ratio with her shots. I think maybe they stretched the image to make her a bit thinner.

I noticed that as well, definitely seemed stretched.

Very good premiere, I enjoyed it. Glad it's back.

Yeah, that scene looked pretty awful, I think it may have been filmed in LA and then greenscreened.

Don't everyone comment at once.

This show has moved right alongside Burn Notice for me as perfect summer fun. Mozzie may be my favorite supporting character on TV right now. He steals every scene he's in. It was fun seeing him and Peter work together.

This is one of the shows my wife and I watch together, and we often wait until we have several on the DVR and watch a couple at a time. We do the same with Psych.

Good episode. It felt like a mix between 21 and Heat, loved it. It would be fantastic if Alex could be more of a regular on the show, she's pretty damn hot.
