I was wondering if there would be some connection between Kate and Elizabeth, just given their passing familial resemblance to one another.

Re: White Collar -- "Bad Judgment" -- 01/26/10
I'm about ready to drop this show. The problem is the weekly cases have just not held my interest. I know white collar crime isn't the most glamorous subject, but episodes like this one are a complete snoozer. And as much as they try, the girlfriend storyline just reeks of the Monk/Trudy plot device.

Re: White Collar -- "Free Fall" (Fall Finale) -- 12/04/09
Sorry for the late bump, but I am a few eps behind.
GREAT finale. I thought Peter was behind Kate from the beginning for some reason. Just seemed like he always knew more than he let on.
Even Eastin pointed out on his Twitter that Peter found Neal with relative ease, like everything was planned from the start.
We'll see how it plays out, but I love the twist and really dig the show.

I thought the fall finale was great...an excellent cliff hanger. Be sure to get caught up on the episodes they've shown in the 2nd half, they're pretty great. You can tell the writers have gotten very comfertable with the characters. Check out all the episodes here.

I thought this was a great episode! Loved that Neal had Peter as a house guest, and that clearly did not work out!. Sad that there was no new episode on this past week, but am looking forward to a new one this week

My parents recommended this show to me. I have really enjoyed it (yes, even with Tiffani Theissen in it!). It will be interesting to see what the season finale cliffhanger will be!

Love this show, love Tiffani Theissen
. I didn't know it had been picked up for a second season. Good news and I'll be tuning in. I still wish it were on Fridays, though (I don't have DVR).

I almost gave up on it early because Neal's obsession with Kate was making the stories tiresome. But it's become much better as things progressed and I really like it now. Unfortunately, the local listings for USA network are all messed up and I've ended up recording the wrong show numerous times so I've had to catch a few eps of this and "Burn Notice" online.

Have to say, I've only seen the show a few times, but have really enjoyed it. From the original ads, it sort of seemed like standard "buddy cop" fare, with the agent as the straight man having to work with the new guy who "breaks all the rules". But it's proven to be surprisingly more intelligent than that.
I'm really digging the actress playing Alex as well.

Eh, I'm on the fence. I like the characters well enough, but I don't like the stories. Both the Kate story and the weeklies aren't very compelling. Kate's seems to be mystery for mystery's sake. Just like on Monk the main objective is to draw the story out and make it intriguing. The weekly stories just seem lazily written and pedestrian.

I think it has really picked up steam since the break. I didn't care for some of the earlier episodes, and they included some awful green screen rooftop shots when Neil first got the apartment.
I loved Tim DeKay on Carnivale, and I think he's great on this show. Willie Garson was a great surprise as well. I love his scenes impersonating law enforcment. Of course Tiffani Thiessen is sexy as all hell, so that helps.
I'm in for season 2.

Tiffani Thiessen's character's sole purpose is to talk for a few seconds and move the story along. The character's like a bad movie voiceover filling you in on the details they had to invent to connect two plot points. It's annoying. She should have been either Kate or Nate's sister, or not been on the show.
And enough with the "do this right or you go back to jail" gimmick, because you're not making Prison Break 2.0.

I like the interaction between Elizabeth and Peter -- it lets you see a different side of Peter.
I'm surprised the show already returns in summer.

I guess this thread will combine the season finale "Out of the Box". I'm glad they got rid of the Kate albatross for season 2, and I'm guessing it'll shift into revenge/avenge mode for Neil next season.
