THe Miso Music app is on sale for 99¢.
I'm still not sure what it does.

That guy was only there to plug his product...that's the impression I get with more and more people who come onto this show. Then again, if you are truly "green" to a new idea/business, the sharks aren't interested anyway.

Looked to me like it was Guitar Hero with a real guitar.
The app itself was free at the time of the show but adding songs to it would cost you (ie he was "selling the sheet music").

Once the sharks heard about Google Ventures' involvement with the music app guy, they knew their money wasn't really necessary to this guy.

That's exactly what it is. I downloaded it and it works great--without even a direct plugin. It makes it MUCH more fun when doing things like scales. All they'd have to do is add an accuracy meter for a score and it would basically be Guitar Hero.
I'm a beginner, but I was able to play a couple of the folk songs included pretty fast--you quickly get lost in the gaming aspect of learning. Very fun.
Cuban will probably make his money back just from the amount of downloads this app will get at 99c after this airing.
But I agree--he didn't really need to be there.

Damon was crazy to do the deal with the motorcycle chicks. Holy shit they were stupid.
I wanna try that beer ice cream, though. Maybe I can find some at whole foods.

I'd be shocked if that deal didn't fall through during the due diligence process.
That episode was a trainwreck. It is like they took all all the worst presenters and bundled up into one show episode.
I like how the first guy essentially said that he's living a six-figure lifestyle by taking money out of the register. He might have a lot of customers, but he had no clue how the financials of a business are supposed to work.

Tonight was a clear example of what not to do, the whole way through. Aside from the dog treats thing, I thought the products were actually pretty good, but the presentations and attitudes of the presenters were just deadly. For whatever reason, I wasn't bored tonight, and I usually hate items that are clearly just wasting everybody's time. I think it's partly because beer ice cream and stylish safety wear are actually clever ideas.
And Damon was insane. I have to think the only reason he made a deal was that Shark Tank has a "No 0 for 4" policy on the show. I gotta think there is zero chance the deal goes through.

I'm just a plain old attorney and know next to nothing about patent law but I have a hard time seeing how dog food thing is patentable except for the paw design. I agree with Mr. Wonderful too on the need, but I'm not a dog owner, so.....
at the ice cream bozos. $400 for a Whole Foods order.
Going to Europe. From 18 to 65%.
I wonder what number Robert was looking for? 100?

Honestly, I think the more they spoke, the more Robert realized this was a bad idea. I don't think any number would have satisfied him.
I think Damon took the deal because he's basically going to look into starting his own safety motorcycle wear (they did make some money at it) and he knows their Shark Tank exposure is worth the money. He'll make it back from this advertising, I'm sure, if it goes through.

Yea. Yesterday's episode was pretty good all over. They really dug into all of the contestants.
Mark Cuban is usually the nice guy. But it felt like he was losing his patience. Not to mention that they probably let people do their thing, who end up being edited out.

The beer flavored ice cream got me thinking -- is there a bourbon flavored ice cream? I would think that could work. I think Ben & Jerrys has a Irish Cream (Baileys essentially) flavored one.

As far as beer flavored... Amys Ice Creams here in Austin almost always has one on the menu. Shiner & Guinness are the most popular. Our favorite is the Shiner Cheer (Christmas) gelato that Whole Foods makes in winter. Yummers

He genuinely seems like the nicest, along with Barbara, but I don't mind any of the others aside from O'Leary. He just seems snide, self-congratulatory, and unpleasant through and through.

Look seven posts above yours.
(Tom is namrfumot, Steve is the "I Want to Draw a Cat For You" guy who was featured on a Shark Tank ep., and Tiffany is...well, I'm not sure who Tiffany is either.)

We had severe weather coverage block out the third segment (the guy with the generator wanting $1 million.) What little I saw, he seemed like a nut. Was this the first Shark Tank where no deal was made?

What a collection of tards. Cookie lady had a good product but was asking far too much. The shirt-logo concept was dumb to begin with. The water-into-gold guy was hilarious (read: snake oil). The wine guy was, for the second time, incredibly arrogant, and I hope his business fails.
