Last night was pretty mediocre. I was happy to see Vanessa go. She had those weird red spots on her face and that labret piercing, which made her look like a clown. Matt is a totally creepy guy. Very bizarre. His rant about his pizza being "phenomenal" cracked me up. The Lou Ross-Ben arguement was so poorly edited. Anyone else notice that when they bleeped on Ben's face for the final shot his lips weren't even moving? I wonder how many of these bleeps are actually even curse words. Still, the show amuses and entertains me, so it's doing it's job there.

Everyone ready for this week's show? I'm curious to see who this other chef is going to be, and hopefully the promo from the end of last week's episode isn't hyping it up more than they should have.

I seriously cannot stand Matt. That guy has a very creepy vibe about him and his bizarre facial expressions are really annoying.

I'm still unsure of who comes back. The comments in the previews about the girls not knowing what they're getting into with the person makes me think Melissa but Ramsay already gave her a second chance last year by putting her on the other team rather than eliminating her. Julie is a possibility but if it is her, where did Ramsay send her to school because it hasn't been long enough for any of the good ones for her to return already.

"A new chef joins one of the teams." That's what they said last week as the showed a silhouette of someone coming up to the door.
That's a whole new level of misleading previews.

I'm glad to see Matt will last another week. Sure, he is incompetent, scary and the show portrays him to be borderline mentally retarded (in all seriousness), but his faces and comments to Gordon are priceless.
I'm currently sick and laughing usually brings about coughing - I nearly lost my lungs when Matt says, "Thank you Chef for you generosity" and obviously his reply.

This episode was horrible for the simple fact that we didn't get a temper tantrum, although the mother complaining about the red and blue plates was fun.
Can't wait to see the girls totally ignore Matt just like the guys.

Wow, this episode was pure gold, aside from that annoy shitty band. Anyone else thinking that it's got a relative of a FOX exec in it?
The sweet 16 chick's mom was hilarious. It's obvious she just had so much botox injected into her face before taping that she could barely speak.
The tease was total shit. New chef? My ass. Oh well, it's not like I expected Thelma Schoonmaker to be editing this show... but still.
