But the whole 3-2 thing was a bit suspicious.

What a weak episode last night was. Total filler. All bullshit. And Whoopi Goldberg?!?!?! She's my most-hated of celebrities. And what a lame cliffhanger, especially when the promo for next week gave it away. The editor needs to be shot.

I would've liked to have seen the challenge done as a blind taste-test. The cooks would have no idea who cooked what or what they're eating. But I guess that would be less drama. Ohwell... onto next week.

It looked VERY obvious that it was added later. But I can understand why they did it. Still seemed silly but I guess they had to do something to fill the time.

Just don't have Petrozza or Christina present so the "real" chefs can't see their reactions and label their dishes A and B. I would also have had each "real" chef come up with her/her choice without the others looking on so they wouldn't know the score and then tally up the votes at the end.
That's how it should have been done if it were actually a competition and wasn't done simply for suspense. I'm not necessarily saying the winner was predetermined, but that's not how a true taste test should have been done.

Yeah, I couldn't see either of them as Exec Chef right away. She at least has the chance to grow into one. I don't think Petrozza had a chance to win tonight no matter what he would have done.

Sure, she won a bunch of challenges but it seemed like she screwed up at least once during every single service. Plus she was the only one to burn Gordon not once, but twice.
I guess I can see her having potential but I definitely do not think she was the best this chef this season.

I'm pissed. Petrozza should've won. They snubbed him in the end too. I really liked that guy.

I agree too. Petrozza should have one. Felt bad for the guy in the end. Pretty good finale.
On a sidenote, Is the actual Hell's Kitchen restaurant a set on some studio in Hollywood?

I would have liked to see Petrozza win as well. It is a reality show though and I'm leery about how they decide the winner on shows like this... man, woman, man.... Christina.

I was totally shocked that Ramsay went with Christina. It seemed that Petrozza took it pretty hard as well. But I guess if both are at the same level now, Christina has years to improve while Petrozza has probably hit his peak.
So we never did see Christina bawling her eyes out as per the preview of a couple of weeks ago?

Towards the top of the episode they showed clips of what was to come, including Christina celebrating her win! No suspense at all...what a terrible editing choice.

After watching it last night (I cannot believe I stayed up for that!), I honestly don't think Petrozza should win. Sure, he's likable guy, but he doesn't seems to be a leadership. He's way too soft to be leadership. He stumbled when Jen told him that they ran out of cheese and he didn't know what to do.
I would like to see him getting into restaurant business.
I was laughing at Jen when she asked Ramsay for reference!

good ending.
I thought Petrozza had it locked up, but Christina was a good choice.
I don't think a sous chef gets 250K a year. She may sign on to a 3-4 yr contract worth 250K. A lot more goes into running a kitchen - ordering, shrinkage control, scheduling etc.

Pretty predictable. This was a good season, as usual. Jen reaffirmed my belief that she is a totally delusional twat. Matt provided more gold, as expected. I liked Petrozza more, but Ramsay was right in saying that Christina had more long-term potential.
On a side note, I've got reservations at his West Hollywood location for my birthday in Oct. Maybe I'll see Christina there. Who knows?
