My thought exactly. Now that Collier is alive Kyle can't be tried for his murder, but he's still on the hook for the two agents he shot. It would be nice if he had some proof that he was under the influence of some malevolent force from the future (or whatever the heck that thing was that came out of him...).

I figured Collier would be back, but I've read that Karina Lombard only signed on for six episodes so I was expecting Alana to die. I'm glad she didn't, but I don't know if she'll be back. For a couple of episodes, she was the main thing that kept me interested in this show. Yes, the finale was good, but there really was too much of a lag in setting it up. It's not that any of the middle episodes were unnecessary, but they could have been a lot tighter. Anyway, I'm glad I've stayed with it. Assuming there is a season three, it should be interesting.

Thing is, who knows if Collier will just come back and everything will be hunky dory. Maybe because he was killed by someone associated to the 4400, he'll come back against them trying to wipe them out.

Possibly because the ones at the center stopped using NTAC after a point. While others who were not in line with the center, continued to receive check ups and what not. Though that doesn't explain why the new boss got sick, so maybe not.

2 other questions:

Is Lilly the only 4400 (common to the show at least) that now hasn't shown a 4400 power?

And the doctor who was the key to unlocking the powers, was he actually a 4400? Or was he injecting himself trying to get himself a power?

Does Lilly communicating with Isabel count as a power? Or is that really Isabel's power?

I presume Jeffrey Combs' character injected himself with the promycin to try to unlock his own untapped mental abilities -- which, if it works, means anyone on earth could potentially develop 4400-like powers by taking the same serum.

VERY interesting conclusion to an unevenly paced season. I sure hope this show doesn't pull a "Joan of Arcadia" and leave us hanging.

Yeah, he wasn't a 4400. He was just cured by the contraption that one built.

Lilly is the only 4400 that we've seen that hasn't exhibited any sort of ability yet. There might be others, but we've never been given that information.

Has Jordan Collier ever exhibited an ability? (and I had no problem recognizing him at the end either).

Are you sure? I seem to remember in season 1 Jordan went "Scanners" on some guy. Crushed his skull.

Thats if she's really grown up. It may be one of her projections.

So now that the inhibitor is gone, it looks like all the 4400s will be getting their powers. I've always wondered why some of them didn't seem to have a power.

Interesting point about Isabel being a "projection", but then the show seemed to imply that she had actually grown up when they showed Lilly trying to find Isabel and the crib being empty.

Regarding the neoscientist (Jefffery Combs's character) being a 4400 or not, he is not. But they did say that he was a brilliant scientist to begin with and somewhere along the way went "insane" and then was cured by that contraption. I don't think he has any powers per se. I think he is just supposed to be a naturally bright guy. Afterall, he wasn't the only one to figure out the drug. The doctor who committed "suicide" (yeah right!) discovered it first so it's not like the neuroscientist discovered and manufactured something that was difficult to do by "normal" people.

Edit:
Forgot to add that I also recall Jordan Collier having some sort of funy ability to crush someone's skull or something like that.

In the scene were Lilly walked out of the room looking for Isabel I expected the camera to pan back to the crib with Isabel still there with a smile on her face like "I love screwing with my mom's head!"

Isn't Jeffrey Combs supposed to be the guy who invented the technology that the Future People used to snatch the 4400 in the first place? I wonder if the drug helps him to that end.

It took me a second to recognize Jordan Collier too. What I didn't realize is that he was at the drop off site where the 4400 were returned.

I like the continuity when they showed a picture of Michael Moriarty and mentioned his telekinesis, but I don't recall if he was killed at the end of his episode.

re: the scientist

I thought NTAQ(?) had just assumed that he was the "father" of 4400 technology, because of the combination of his area of expertise (dormant neural pathways?) and the fact that the Future People (don't know what else to call them) went out of their way to help him.

re: Jordan "SkullCrusher" Collier

Are ya'll sure you're not thinking about the businessman who killed his ex-partner while outside his front gate way back in the pilot episode.
And, until the current "death & return" subplot, I kept wondering if Jordan's charm/charisma was part of his ability.

I figured the future people had Kyle take him out because he was planning to start a war and doing very shady things, ie the merceneries, and the scientology feel to his center and now he may truly know his "mission".

I love 4400... it's like X-Men in a TV series...

I had NO idea who the "Castaway" looking guy was... but instantly recognized it as the "landing site".

If doc "develops abilities" after injecting himself, I could definitely see this "drug" taking a turn for the worse... People will go CRAZY to learn what their "hidden talent" is...

Season 3... Season 3... Season 3... I can't WAIT!!!

I also recognized the landing sight, making me wonder if Collier hadn't been ported away for re-education.

Manco, I hope you're right -- a projection wouldn't jump the shark like a grown-up Isabel would.

No, not really. I just thought she does have the experience in playing accelerated-grown (and initially nude ) messiah-like characters.
