Man, this episode totally rocked my world. I'm glad that I was able to watch it instead of reading from all of youse how freakin' unbelievable it was. This is not going to end well. The question is how far the whacking and the resultant collateral damage will spread.

I thought it was great that with all their wealth and riches the Soprano family had living in that house and having all that money, it was coming down to having to grab what they could while they ran away to go into hiding in fear of losing their lives. Ultimately, what kind of quality of life is that?

But truth be told, I think the prop department was bored and decided to have a bit of fun, and the director agreed.

Additionally, after the botched Phil hit, when Silvio and Tony are talking, what should have been a very serious moment is briefly deflated when Sil says "Just want you to know, Paulie says he takes full responsibility for this, and it's all on him. But he says he didn't do nothing." To me, that struck as a very funny line, and a totally Paulie thing to say.

Anyone remember the old episode where Christopher was in a coma and he had a dream about being in a bar and someone told him to "tell Tony and Paulie 3 o'clock"
Anyone think that will come into play in the finale, or do you think it's one of those things Chase has long forgotten about?
It can't be a coincidence that Tony and Paulie are the two "main" guys left, can it?

Damn! That's all I have to say. Obviously the walls are now closing in, and I don't think we will see many survivors.
What was that music they played over the credits(just now saw the ep. and didn't feel like scrolling all the way through to see if it was asked before)? Very eerie and appropriate.

I imagine Phil holed up somewhere hearing about that and having his decision about taking out Tony reinforced: not only was Tony's crew inept enough to hit the wrong guy, they killed the innocent woman on top of it.

I was thinking about that before too, but has this ending been planned out since season 2?

Probably so that he could crawl to the backseat in a way reminiscent of Adriana trying to crawl for her life.
