YES HE WAS. It was pointed out more than once in that episode's thread.

how it will end

Ok...here is what I think will happen. Sil is not dead. The fed's faked his death to get him out of danger. Tony is going to get arrested and when they start to drill him he is going to stay confident. His only reply will be you have nothing and noone...all my people are dead. At that moment you will see Sil walking by outside the interagation window. And it doesn't end there. They will have Adriana following sil. Think about it. No one has gone to see sil in the hospital. And as for Adriana...Sil is the only one that was able to say if she was dead or not. I believe it was the decision to kill Adriana that may have made him flip.

In the heat of that 20 minutes of screentime battle between NY & NJ, AJ happens by circumstance to whack one of the NY crew. He becomes a "made" guy. The last 30 minutes of the episode will be the remaining characters sitting around a large table (with lots of empty chairs) at Artie and Charmagne's restaurant (notice how they suddenly appeared last episode?) reminiscing about their fallen comrades and how they themselves got into the life. (lots of flashbacks) Fade to black. Next scene is Tony sitting around his pool and the ducks return. Fade to black.

If HBO were to start selling cardboard cutouts of Sil, I would buy 2!

Damn that was a great episode. I'm going into the final episode blind on Saturday. I have no idea who live or who dies. This better not disappoint!

It all depends on your perspective on what makes for a decent series finale. Every person is a judge unto themselves. Or something.

It's funny that Bobby & Tony were fishing a few episodes back and discussing how when you get whacked, you probably don't feel it or see it coming.

Meanwhile, Bobby saw and felt every bit of it.
