Interesting thought. This makes a LOT more sense than the "yes, he could figure out complex mechanisms, brains, and DNA, but he was foiled by a numeric keypad"...

By the way, do we need to spoilerize speculation like this?

Did you read the 9th comic on http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/novels ? The answer is obviously yes.

Nothing personal. :)

well I suppose now that she's been auf'd, the talk will stop. :mad2:

anyways, byebye mini-Bilson , your reference will be forever Googled.

Demontooth 12-06-06 03:14 PM

Now if Nikki gets shanked in prison the show would be perfect.

TGM 12-06-06 04:22 PM

If by shanked you mean molested and fondled in the prison shower by a mini-Kate Beckinsale, or a mini-Eva Langoria then yes, it would indeed by perfect.

I was hoping for mini-Jessica Simpson and mini-Salma Hayek, personally.

good work.

so what's the deal with matt? if he tries really hard to read the haitian's mind, he somehow starts to bleed? kind of weird if you ask me.

Baron Of Hell 12-06-06 08:37 PM

If tries to read anyone one really hard he starts to bleed.

I think it was just that he was concentrating so hard, that the added pressure caused a simple nosebleed.

It's happened to myself, for instance, when I do squats, or something like that which puts a great deal of stress on myself.

Yep, happens to me when I pick my nose too hard.

I put the discussion of the online comic book (#11) in spoilers because if it is canon with the series then it contains a spoiler about what happened to Sylar after Eden offed herself that wasn't shown in the episode. Namely that
Spoiler:
Sylar didn't escape and Mr. Bennett and the Haitian subdued him immediately following Eden's death.

And, in a previous online comic, Eden
Spoiler:
was able to kill just by telling someone to die. She could've killed Sylar just by telling him to die.

The online comic books are available here for anyone who hasn't read them yet:

Relax, she can smoke all the cigarettes she wants. She's got that healing factor!

The look on Sylar's fact, once he'd realized what she was doing, said it all. Or, rather, I thought it did. Perhaps they should have wasted some time on unecessary expository dialogue.

My thoughts exactly. I'm surprised more people haven't seen it this way, too. Why would he tell her he was going to take her power only to then kill her before doing it? That would make far less sense.

But the preview that followed the episode showed him still captured, so it's not

Previews are spoilers. Please read the forum rules.

spainlinx0 12-07-06 08:21 AM

Sometimes I wonder why I even avoid watching the previews when someone invariably here mentions something that gives it away, or they try to be "clever" and give it away anyway.

pinata242 12-07-06 08:23 AM

That's funny because there wasn't a preview on mine.

Demontooth 12-07-06 08:34 AM

I didn't see a preview either.

buzzdalf 12-07-06 11:00 AM

No preview here either.

Wrong. HRG guy was in there all alone....

Nice catch.

Her power is tissue regeneration (Mohinder explicitly mentions that phrase in the first episode). I imagine she can get colds just like everyone else.

I hope she never gets cancer. She'd be dead in a few minutes.

Edit: No, I guess she can heal broken bones, too. So who knows. Not enough information to go on.

squidget 12-07-06 12:14 PM

in trying to keep up with nicknames, what is HRG again?

Groucho 12-07-06 12:18 PM

Hiro's Right-Hand Guy

Just kidding, it's Horn-Rimmed Glasses (Mr. Bennet).
