I didn't understand the praise for Lucas' "Creep" last night at all. That was not good. Imagine taking away whatever stage performanceship Lucas has and listening to him on a CD for 45 minutes.

Magni sounded terrific -- he should get the encore.

It will be Loukas. Magni had one recently for Plush. It's not always about merit.

Loukas deserved praise. He hit the notes and sounded full and great. I don't personally like him, but if he continues to open his voice, he will contend.

I personally don't like Lucas but I have to disagree. That might have been the performance of the year. Magni was very good as well though. As long as its either one of them, I'm cool. They better not give it to Dilana just because Gilby performed. That was horrible in my opinion.

I was thinking the same thing. She seems to be the only one who's conniving on the show. I'm glad she got her shit handed to her. And Lucas' performance totally whooped her's that night too.

Glad to see Lukas finally taking some of Jason's advice and trying to change his singing style. It was a good performance, but how many times are we going to see the big transition from something kinda quiet to rocking out (he did it last night and a couple weeks ago on "Bittersweet Symphony").

It might not be encore-worthy, but I enjoyed Toby's performance.

At this point, I'd rather see Jill and her oversinging go. Zayra's singing sucks, but at least her craziness is entertaining.

I honestly don't see what the lucas appeal is. I listened to the song last night too, and I thought it sucked. He sounds part munchkin most of the time. Fact of the matter is, anything sounds good to people when the music is all quiet and then suddenly busts in with a loud power chord, drums, and lights flashing bright. It's called dynamics. I totally agree that once you take all that shit out, you've got an awful, awful singer who misses a lot of notes.

Magni had the performance of the night in my opinion. Lukas was very close though. That was one of his first performances that I really liked.

I like Ryan, although not for this band, however I don't understand the praise for his performace. Seemed like a side show to me. Ryan reminds me a lot of Ari Hest and I think he is a great fit in that genre. I still think his song last week was the best of the year.

Speaking of Ryan last week, why the hell didn't someone speak up and correct Dave last night? Magni is not the first to perform by himself. Ryan did it last week.

Geez, that was sort of a disappointing elimination show, especially because trainwreck Zayra is still on the show!!!

Ryan had a symphony to back him up or a backing track at least. Magni just brought him and his guitar.

I'd say Magni is the best vocalist on the show right now.

It doesn't come on here for another 2 hrs. Who got booted and who got the encore? Plz tell me Jill and Magni respectively.

Something was off about tonight's show....

1. The Editing between the various performances was completely off. It seemed like there were just moments of uncomfortable silences.

2. Dave Navarro simply shocked the hell out of me when he told Jill that her vocals were the strongest on performance night.

3. Lukas' Encore was complete shit.

It's funny...I was just disscussing with a co-worker today how they'd yet to have a double elimination this year, and tonight they go and have one.

Really not surpised about either of the two voted off, but Zyara really needs too go next. Circus act aside, she's not that good of a singer - and as interesting as it is to watch her sometimes, it's getting tiring listening to her butcher songs. It's finally turned time for things to get truly serious, and there's becoming less and less reason to justify keeping her around anymore.

Ryan gets "another chance", but I'm not so sure he'll be able to hold onto it. He's just the wrong style of music for these guys, and while his voice is ok, he just continues to come off as a total poser to me.

I hope David Bowie puts a hit out on Zayra for destroying All the Young Dudes. Dang. I thought Kurt Cobain had trouble hitting the right notes for The Man Who Sold the World, but I don't think even he could fuck up All the Young Dudes as badly as Zayra did.

I cringed the whole way through her awful performance. I really think she's blowing someone or everyone in the band, because there's no other explanation why she's still around.

I thought Ryan did really well with his bottom 3 performance. he does look like he is forcing the stange antics, though.

so glad to see jill gone. at least with zayra, you never know what she's going to do. but jill does the same thing over and over again. oversings, and jumps around on stage like she's singing "let's hear it for the boy", flinging her hair back and forth.

josh just didn't fit the band, and i bet he's happy about it.

my favorites from the other night were magni, lukas, and toby (in that order). i thought lukas nailed his performance (really the first time for him). good stage presence, and his vocals were really good. magni showed that he can command a theater with just his voice and a guitar. toby was energetic, and the bullhorn was ok.

i think if ryan hadn't worn that sweatshirt with the fake hair, it would have been better. just a normal sweatshirt, man! that thing was weeeeeeeeeeird.

Ryan kind of reminds me of Rufus Sewell, that dude from Dark City. He doesn't have the wonky eye, but he has the same dark expression.

I was catching performances off of youtube to see the trainwreck that is Zayra. That bitch is hilarious. Whoever runs dlisted described her perfectly:

"I will be the first to admit that Zayra Alvarez is a trainwreck, but she's the only reason I'm watching Rock Star: Supernova. Everybody on that show is just a clone of each other and then there's Zayra. Freaky, sexy, crazy Zayra Alvarez. She's like Bai Ling meets Bjork meets Charo. Last night she performed David Bowie's All the Young Dudes in another hot outfit.

I know voting is closed, but I am praying if Zayra goes home..please CBS fix the votes! I beg of you! That Pamela Anderson wannabe, Jill, needs to go home. I'm so sick of looking at her white eyeshadow!."

After the hilariousness ran dry, I was amazingly shocked to see a video of hers pre-Rockstar singing in Spanish. Such a beautiful voice and all, how the hell she screws it up in English is beyond me.

She really is the most entertaining on the show, even though everyone outsings her.

I can't remember now, but wasn't it Josh that said after Patrice got voted in the bottom three last week after playing in front of Tommy it would be a risky thing to do (to have one of the band sit in with you)? Then who decides to get up and play behind him but Tommy? If it was him that said it (it might have been Ryan), wouldn't that be a screw you from Tommy? If it wasn't Josh, forget my rant.

I think that Patrice really has to be the next one to go.

is it me or does Supernova really seem like a fun band to hang out with... just seem like good guys. Take INXS, i couldnt care less to hang out with them, they just seemed washed up, has beens, while this band hasnt done anything yet (together atleast), and you can tell they still have the love of music in them. Seeing Tommy pretend drum to some of the better songs is just awsome... I am really digging this show this season... Go Storm and go Magni!!!

I think that Tommy, Jason and even Dave (who is not in the band) are fine, but I can't stand Gilby. I really think that he has overestimated his importance in music, and it is laughable that he is in a "supergroup".

I was off by a week on the double elimination. I actually think they would have done it last week had Zayra and Jill been in the bottom 3. Jill's song choice was horrible and I'm guessing the house band wasn't too fond of her cause they really didn't put much effort into that one. My prediction that Magni would come to the front is starting to look good. I think he will continue and end up winning this whole thing.

REL77, i agree. tommy has come a long way since the first few episodes, where he said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING of value, and came off as a huge douchebag. at least now he may just be a likable douchebag.

jason is still the best as far as the constructive criticism goes. he explains what he means.
