So I think they all Rocked it tonight...was pretty impressed with Storm being able to carry that vocal..but I was watching Toby the whole time. Dilana freaked me out..I think her and Storm should be in the bottom...Loved everyone else..Ryan is so talented..Toby put on a great performance but borders on cheesy just a wee bit..Loukas did a good job and so did Magni..my favorite? This week I gotta say Ryan..loved how he worked that piano.

Dilana freaked you out, but that's why I liked her peformance the best. There is so much samey samey stuff out there that it's fun to see a bit of weirdness (although Lukas doesn't do it for me). Still with Dilana. Hell, I'm sure there are PLENTY of rockers I love who are complete assholes behind the scenes.
Edit... I'd choose Ryan 2nd at this point. No telling what he's about to do.

Storm has to go, her voice is just bland, it hurts.
Lukas just doesn't do it for me.
Magni put me to sleep.
Ryan was energetic and fun, but he tends to growl a lot.
Toby is still my choice to front this band.
Dilana was good, but I couldn't stomach more than 3 songs from her in an evening.

To me, Ryan's performance was too much flash, not enough substance. I'm gald at least Jason noticed the same thing I've been noticing. Yeah, it was impressive visually - but vocally, and even with showmanship, he still loses it sometimes, especially when he goes out of his way physically. And tonight, he didn't even sing all that much, passed some of his vocals off to the house band, and screamed/growled when he should have sung.
The guy's got something - but it just isn't right for THIS band.
And for all you folks out there amongst his supporters, I'll give you this to chew on...Last year, I liked Marty Casey a hell of a lot more than JD Fortune, and really, really wanted him to win. Right up until before the final show, that is, and then the truth hit me - no matter how good I thought Marty was, and how much better I thought he was than everybody else, I finally realized that I did not want him to win. This was for two reasons - one, that ultimately, he was NOT right for INXS; and two, because I wanted better for him.
After all was said and done, even though my horse didn't win - I think the right descisions were made all around. JD, as proved by listening to the finished INXS album, was the right person to front that band. I also much prefer Marty's solo work, and he still got something good out of it - a record deal, and opening slot on the INXS tour.
Just something to keep in mind as we near the end of this thing.

I enjoyed Ryan, Magni, & Tobys performances. I really think it's sad that now there trying to drum up sympathy for Dilana after trashing her last week. It's pretty much anyones game right now, but Supernova seems to like Dilana the most.

I thought it was the best ep of the season. Great performances. Storm impressed me because I thought she had no shot at the song and sang it reasonably well. However, I think she's probably going home tonight.
Remember, we still need a two at a time week. Either this week or next week, two singers are going home. If it's this week, add Ryan to the list. He's a great performer, but just not right for Supernova.
If it's down to four for next week, you have an interesting cut among Dilana, Magni, Loukas and Toby. If the fix isn't in, I'm not sure who they'd choose.

strong performances from everyone last night, except for Storm. Storm was good, but not nearly as good as the rest. I think it's time for her to go. it just says something that everyone was watching toby when she was performing.
I agree about Ryan - his vocals were a little bit lost last night. but still a VERY entertaining performance. but i can't see him fronting Supernova... and that's a GOOD thing.
i really liked dilana's performance last night. she delivered that song perfectly. but i still don't like her... oh, woe is me!
in regards to family coming out for the show... last year, MiG's wife also came out to the mansion.

I certainly wasn't watching Toby when Storm was performing! She gives me the hot and I am a straight woman.
I don't get all the love for Toby. I think he looks like some rowdy frat boy trying to look rock. I don't get his appeal at all.

i wasn't watching toby because of physical appearance. he was just more interesting.
I went to Amazon and have been listening to snippet's of the Stage cd. actually pretty good. i may have to pick it up. Ryan's also got a solo cd with 20 songs on it. Ryan annoyed me at first, but he's come on VERY strong, and i really liked his original song the other night.

Just a word - Back of Your Car is on the band's 2004 EP, but if you go to his label's website, you can download the studio track for $.99 (or the live version for free).

Looks like Back of Your Car is on his solo cd, too...

I hope they don't have to do a double elimination this late. There was plenty of time to do that when it was obvious who wasn't going to make it.

1) Double Elimination
2) Four person finale
The season finale is 9/15. That means there is only one more week for performances prior to the finale.
I think your double elimination is tonight, and it will be Storm and Ryan.
