Here's my current view on all LOST island inhabitants:
1. Jack, Kate, Locke, Hurley, Michael, Sawyer, Walt, Claire, Charlie, Jin, Sun, Sayid, Shannon, and the other main group of Flight 815 survivors
2. Dannielle Rousseau (aka the "Crazy French Woman" who has been living on the island alone for 16 years, when the rest of her companions either died of some illness or were killed by her)
3. The Others (aka the pirates who kidnapped Walt and blew up the raft - they have been on the island even longer than the Crazy French Woman)
4. Desmond (aka the bunker guy living inside the hatch for a long time, who seems to think there is a deadly illness of some sort on the island)
5. Tail Section Flight 815 survivors (aka "The Utters" as Jin mistakenly calls them, who all look like crazed-looking zombies and have gone all "Lord of the Flies")
Other possible groups/individuals on the island:
*6. Ethan Rom (aka guy who kidnapped Claire and is now dead - he may have been on his own or may have been one of "The Others", but he definitely was not one of the Flight 815 survivors)
*7. Alex (aka long missing daughter of Dannielle Rousseau, the Crazy French Woman - if still alive, Alex should be 16-years-old and one of "The Others" now)
*8. Jack's Zombie Dad (may exist or may just be an apparition)
*9. People in one or more other Dharma stations (bunkers) (the other 5 stations are probably still manned and either on same island or somewhere else in the world)

BigSpaceship1.com is back to the polar bears...the morse code says: CHOCOLATE ASCLEPIUS. I use a morse code translator, so I am assuming the last word is correct. Asclepius was a Greek hero who later become the Greek god of medicine and healing. He was the son of Apollo and Coronis. (The chocolate bar that Rose saved for Bernard was an Apollo bar)
Zeus killed Asclepius for bringing the dead back to life.

I've been wondering if bigspaceship1 is actually giving clues or just using already known facts sprinkled with some red herrings to keep interest up.
It'd be nice to keep this thread alive along with the individual episode threads.

Was it mentioned Alex was taken as a baby? Could she have been Walt's age at abduction therefore making her closer to 26 than 16? Or did she have the baby on the island like Claire? My memory is fuzzy on that one.

Hey guys, POWERBALL is worth $290 million this Saturday...how many thousands do you think will be playing 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42?!
Since the odds of winning are already astronomical, I'm wondering what the odds are that the numbers drawn would equal numbers that were already shown on a fictional TV show as winning lottery numbers? Those have got to be mind-bogglingly astronomical odds!

Has anyone done an in-depth analysis of the characters? The kind that they make you do in college lit classes. I would like to read what other people’s opinions are and how they translate the meaning of the characters actions and background. I really do think the writers are using allot of classical character references in this show.

the odds of hitting the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 are no different than the odds of hitting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or hitting 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12
any combination of 6 numbers have the same odds, it only seem improbable to you due to external influences *lost

It would be a crappy win anyway, as I agree with the fact that thousands probably play those numbers religiously since the show started. You'd be sharing prize money with alot of people.

About the Apollo Connection:
I found the above on another site, so I'm not independently smart
However, I think three of the above are already true, so I expect the others will be too.

I konw that last season there was a website for Oceanic Air, but wasn't there a new website created for this season?
Also, this is fairly small and obvious, but "Ethan Rom" = "Other Man" (anagram).

Just checked the ABC site, another re-run is listed for 11/02. But I thought I've seen ads for a new episode running during MNF. There is a new episode this Wed, right? It's November sweeps, so there must be new episodes..
right??
Jeez, one week of a repeat, and I'm going through withdrawals.
