Wow. Well thought out and possible. If not true, an interesting read nonetheless.

Anyone know when iTunes usually gets the latest episode of Lost? I unexpectedly had to miss it last night and was really hoping I'd be able to come in and buy it this morning, but it doesn't seem to be available yet.

so what about the apparent vehicle that can be seen moving on the side of the mountain behind ana and one of them when they are talking near the top.

can be seen right in the middle as she says, "were did they get it?"

sounds like a boom mic moment. Not supposed to be there. Which episode and time point are you referring to so others can check it out?

Just saw the Lost paperback novel at the store, might be worth a quick read.

I believe it is based on a few of the other 40 characters that don't get screen time in the show. (I think I posted that before, I can't remember)

It's near the end of the most recent episode, when Ana and the other dude are cutting up the mango and talking.

And, yes, it looks like a simple error that no one noticed during editing.

Ok, I just finished watching the Season Finale of Season 1. I've been renting the series from NetFlix for the past couple months. Wow! I can't believe I missed this when it was on TV! Of course, the DVD presentation is way better than the TV broadcast, at least for me.

The question I have now is, should I download the first 8 episodes from iTunes, and then start watching it on TV, or wait for the superior DVD presenation? I can't wait to find out what happens to everyone... though I did read the episode descriptions at iTunes for the first 8 eps, so I have some idea of what happens to a few of the characters.

How's season 2 holding up compared to season 1? I don't really want to read the S2 threads for fear of spoilers.

If you enjoyed S1, you HAVE to see the first ep of the second season.

I say get 'em all from Itunes and get caught up.

Go to http://bigspaceship1.com , click on the picture, enter any name...kinda funny. There are guys in there acting like they know what's going to happen, pretty lame.

Season 2 has taken off like a rocket - the show just gets more engrossing as it goes along. But whatever you do, be sure to watch Season 2 episodes in order (or, at least, the first 3 episodes of Season 2 before seeing any later episode - there are some surprises that are ruined if you see a later episode first).

This site is worth checking out: Lostpedia.com. Nice "Wikipedia" styled summary of LOST.

'Lost' cast named entertainer of the year
December 22, 2005 15:46:04

The cast of "Lost," ABC's hit drama of air crash survivors marooned on a mysterious island, have won one battle -- they beat a 40-year-old virgin and King Kong's girlfriend for the title of 'Entertainer of the Year."

Entertainment Weekly named what it called a group of "treasured islanders," the cast of "Lost," as its Entertainer of the Year, calling the show one of the "biggest cult breakouts since The X-Files."

Yeah, it seems that Lost has held onto the "buzz" a lot more than fellow sophomore Desperate Housewives has.

I read that book over Christmas. Decent read. Very short, quick read.

There is some decent interaction with "our" characters with the new character(s) of the book. Little moments that could have happened while other things were going on-on screen. For example while Kate, Sayid and Co. go out with the transceiver to try and get a signal the character of the book is interacting with Locke, Jack & Hurley back on the beach. I think it was done well enough. Every other chapter is a flashback. So it feels as if the one novel equates to one episode. As for the character herself, decent enough with her background and expertise, and would actually make an interesting addition to the series.

Everyone makes an appearance except for Jin and Sun.

I quickly caught a promo for next week and they called it a 'special two hour event'.
But is it a new two hour episode, or a cheap one hour recap followed by a one hour new episode?

The latter. According to ABC's website, the first hour is entitled 'Revelations' and is a summary of the first 48 days on the island, for both the regulars and the tailies.
