The "three minutes" in the title refers to
Spoiler:
the duration of the sex act between Ana-Lucia and Sawyer. Apparently the confidence man is sort of quick on the draw.

I though too it was is in reference to Rosey and Jamal making a special guest appearance and giving all castaways 3 minutes to tell everyone what they know and to stop hiding shit from each other only to have it bite them all in the ass later

First of all, you create this thread early and to top it off, you don't even do it properly to begin with.

Real Spoiler about what the title refers to:

Spoiler:
The amount of time Michael was given with Walt in exchange for turning on the Losties and (yeah, right) getting Walt back

This is great news for those who are frustrated with LOST's schedule this year! Here is an excert from the article about the schedule for next year (in a nutshell: Premiere in the fall with 7 episodes, then a huge 13 week break, and then new eps resume in Jan or Feb with uninterrupted new eps until the finale in May.

It's a huge break in the middle - but I think it's worth it for new eps for like 3 months in a row!

LA Times Article

Excert about LOST:

When it comes to "Lost," it's all about listening to the fans, McPherson said. The drama series about marooned passengers on a mysterious island will return in the fall in its current Wednesday time slot with seven original episodes, and then go on hiatus until January or February, when it will return to the Wednesday night schedule with original episodes until May.

During "Lost's" hiatus, ABC will launch "Day Break," starring Taye Diggs as a detective who literally lives the same day over and over -- and it's a bad one -- for 13 weeks.

"'Lost' is a show people really love. They make an appointment for [it]," McPherson said. "They absolutely just get furious when it's in repeat. So we want to be able to say to the audience, it's going to be on for this block here -- then bring it back and it will run straight through."

The show's executive producers, Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, said today that they're excited about the new schedule and will design the third season around the new airtime order.

"Our audience was incredibly frustrated with repeats," Cuse wrote in an e-mail. "Now when 'Lost' is on, it's on. And, the audience doesn't have to wait all the way until the spring for the show to return, which given the cliffhanger nature of our finale would be too long."

The new non-repeat schedule "allows us to really keep the momentum of our particular type of storytelling," he added.

I much prefer that scheduling! I don't mind a long break in the middle, a break every 3 or 4 episodes is annoying a shit though.

I haven't read any spoilers, so I'll take some guesses...

Mr. Friendly and a group of Others?

Walt?

Desmond?

A boat?

I'd guess those are about the only choices.
