We never found out what happened between the magicians and meat people.

Mary used them as target practice. ;)

 at the whole "peanuthead" conversation while they were getting ready for another round.

Jay Mohr?

Man, this episode was a freaking mess. It was all over the place.

So what's the deal with the guy kidnapping Sam? Maybe he's not really the rich hedge fund guy. Maybe he poisoned Casey?

MrX 03-02-07 11:05 PM

 @ Danny "handling it". Ed would have fed those guys their testicles for dinner.

Patman 03-02-07 11:08 PM

Our local affiliate decided to cut in with the NTSB press report on the bus that turned on its side, killing 6 people onboard, 4 were players on a college team, so I didn't get to see Danny "handle it".

MrX 03-02-07 11:10 PM

Danny handling it was letting them kick his ass.

Patman 03-02-07 11:24 PM

Damn! I did miss sumthin'!!! :D

nateman 03-03-07 01:22 AM

fucking defective DVD-RW disc, about 30mins in the thing stopped recording and i didn't find out until the first airing of the show was over and the second airing on my NBC timeshift channel on Shaw digital at 11pm was over.
I guess ill have to wait till the dvd comes out in sept, or i hope NBC plays back to back episodes next week. I was looking foward to this ep. too, fucking memorex!

Can't wait till the next episode through cause its the season 4 finale!

I figure that in most cases gangstas would want the 10Gs and kick your ass. That was pretty stupid.

Patman 03-03-07 09:10 AM

Finally saw the beatdown (forgot I had my ReplayTV recording the show as well). Mike's childhood friend is pretty hot, though her face is slightly mannish from certain angles.

So what is the Sentinel's plan?

I thought that was the secret, Mike's old friend was a man (missed the first 5 mins.) but then figured that was not possible.

I agree the show is not as cool when it's serious

This episode was all over the place

They were about as "gangsta" as the Sharks and Jets.

TheMovieman 03-04-07 10:56 AM

I hope this isn't a sign of things to come next season. Like others have said, I like the show more when it's not as serious.

The promos for this episode look good. I hope it gets picked up for another season and gets put back into a non friday night time slot.

It did get renewed
Spoiler:
but without Caan and Cox.
I don't know about the timeslot, though.

Spoiler:
Two of my biggest reasons for watching are leaving the show. :(

Caan's pretty good on there too.

Snowmaker 03-09-07 09:03 PM

Um, .. well, ... that didn't end anything like I expected (except maybe for Mary's dad).

And what was with the Montecito getting hit from out of nowhere?

stingermck 03-09-07 09:13 PM

Jesus, that was awesome. 6-7 cliffhangers at one time

Doug Heffernan 03-09-07 10:09 PM

wow

Deftones 03-09-07 10:39 PM

Too much shit going on! Most of it not even realistic, too.

So my guess is that:
Spoiler:
Caan shot the dad, that's how he's off the show. Mary will be so distraught, that's how she'll leave the show. Delinda was out of the room, somehow, but might not be pregnant anymore.

MrX 03-09-07 10:49 PM

One of the producers said in an interview said this was shot before all that happened so they have no clue right now what they're going to do. He said they wrote it like this as a way to get another season but they didn't know their budget would be cut.

I thought this ep was a total mess.

TheMovieman 03-09-07 11:29 PM

I've only been watching for 15-minutes, and I'm already depressed. What happened to the guilty pleasure I knew and loved?
