Spoiler:
Do you think that Mary will end up in jail for shooting her dad?

Makes sense to me... although I don't see why she just doesn't ask Ed to "take care of it."

stingermck 02-28-07 07:57 AM

Hate to see Caan go, cause I love the character of Ed, but Duhamel can hold the show, no problem.

Red Dog 02-28-07 08:26 AM

Without you-know-who, it would really lose a lot of its appeal.

True, but
Spoiler:
his
role has been diminishing in the show slowly the last year or so.

boogieman03 02-28-07 08:34 AM

The spoiler news saddens me.

As long as
Spoiler:
Sims and Marcil
stick around - I'm good.

movieking 02-28-07 09:02 AM

Spoiler:
With Sam now owning the Montecito, I wonder if she cans Ed

Yeah, which is one of the reasons why the show isn't as appealing as it used to be.

Deftones 02-28-07 09:20 AM

I won't disagree with that.

Not if she values her life she won't. :p

Update:

Spoiler:
Nikki Cox was let go due to budget cuts. A new Hollywood Reporter story today mentioned it.

Spoiler:
How much was she making? Doesn't seem like she would be highly paid, although I guess she's the most expendable of the young cast

Also, are they going to add anyone or just have guest appearances from recognizable faces?

movieking 02-28-07 02:11 PM

Spoiler:
In a way I am surprised that Cox was cut, but I am more than fine with it. It's destined that Danny and Delinda will be together, so there is no need for Mary anymore. BTW, it looks like this season will end with Delinda possibly being pregnant

Maybe it's my annoyance of Simms, but I disagree with that. I still think Mary & Danny would make a better couple.

LorenzoL 03-01-07 11:47 AM

Spoiler:
I agree that his role was disminished this season but it will still be sad to see Caan go. In regards to Cox, I don't consider her a big loss.

NBC in Detroit is showing a basketball game instead. :(

Agreed. Curious to see what happens the next 2 weeks.

And I didn't realize there was a live action Transformers coming out this summer?

Yeah, there are some teaser trailers online. It also stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Tyrese, Bernie Mac and Jon Voight and directed by Michael Bay. Personally, I don't see the appeal...

Anyway, I presume they're going to bring in at least one new character, so who out there could be the more authoritative figure? Ray Liotta could work in some way...

Supposedly, WDIV is rebroadcasting LV at 3:00 AM Monday, but double-check listings as they have screwed these up before.

As long as we didn't have to look at his face.

So who's going to pay for all of her plastic surgery now?

Red Dog 03-02-07 09:13 PM

This show sucks when it is too serious.

However, I loved Mike's chick's come-on line: "would you like to grow into this body.":thumbsup:

Yeah, goddam Pistons. Luckily Comcast has Canada's Global network. We watched it on there. The audio sucks on that channel, but at least I didn't have to miss it.

chrisih8u 03-02-07 09:16 PM

Pretty good ending. Looking forward to next week's episode.

Ed's wife is a whiny bitch.
