Fun episode.

Polly's hilarious. Not alot of Sam in this episode, which makes me sad.

I still don't think Piper is as ugly as many here make her out to be.

B.A. 02-02-08 11:46 AM

Polly even made my wife chuckle a few times.

I love me some Molly Sims.

I thought Coop was going to step in and play, too. Polly kicks ass in this show. Good comedic relief.

TheMovieman 02-02-08 02:08 PM

Another good episode. I hope NBC will give it another season, if not to wrap everything up (including maybe the return of Caan for one episode).

Pretty good episode, but betting hundreds of thousands of dollars on 2 on 2s? I guess in Vegas though...

I was watching this episode and immediately found that ridiculous beyond belief, particularly in a place where you can practically bet on anything. Then add in a major casino getting involved.... rotfl

Well, you are watching a show where a character died when a gust of wind blew her off the roof... :p

That's about 1000x more believable that million dollar bets in Vegas on streetcourt 2 on 2 basketball games.

Original Desmond 02-02-08 05:35 PM

im getting sick of the Coop is a secret bad ass stuff. He's no Ed Deline !

Piper is growing on me a bit. Need more Sam

Sheesh. Where were you in last week's thread? -ohbfrank- :)

And yeah, I needed a lot more Sam too..

I agree. I haven't really been satisfied with how they've wrote his character.
I like Tom Selleck, but he's just not as cool as James Caan. They made him a cowboy, that's fine given Tom Selleck's cowboy movie career, but his hat and cowboy clothes sucked.

Actually I think that the Coop character is much more interesting than Ed Deline. Tom Selleck has more than filled Caan's shoes IMO.

Piper needs a bag over her head.

Sam is one of the most irritating characters in the history of television.

Las Vegas - "Win, Place, Bingo" (02/09/08)

Spoiler:
Pete Skinner (Terry Bradshaw) seems to have a perfect winning streak while betting on horses, which makes Danny and Mike suspicious.

After tonight, all we have left is the two-part Season (Series?) Finalé... and they are airing it back-to-back next Friday starting at 9/8c. :(

Here's hoping to more Sam this episode!

one of the better recent episodes

Polly is a riot.

I think with such a poor lead in (sorry FNL fans), NBC might give it one more shot. But it might only be a half season order...

Original Desmond 02-09-08 04:27 PM

Polly is a riot IN SMALL DOSES. Luckily they don't bombard us with her. An appearance every 4th episode is fine

By far, the best part of the show lately. Her large mouth bass comment was hysterical.

movieking 02-11-08 06:35 AM

Polly is good as a drop-in. I liked Bradshaw as well. He is so over the top in everything he does.

No offense taken.

One wonders why on earth NBC flipped them. Originally, FNL was after Las Vegas on the schedule.

B.A. 02-11-08 02:34 PM

Polly brought the funny yet again. Just reading the quotes in the thread made me laugh out loud.

Las Vegas - "Three Weddings and a Funeral" (02/15/08) - 2 Hour Finalé

<img src="http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/5232/lasvegasver3ze4.jpg" align="left" style="padding: 0px 15px 5px 0px;">TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE: "Las Vegas," 9-11 p.m.

After a long string of new, scripted episodes on Fridays, NBC is running out. Last week, the last fresh "Friday Night Lights" ran; tonight is the last new episode (for now) of "Las Vegas."

Spoiler:
Crooks show up and try to steal a stamp. In the interim, they hold Danny, Piper and Mitch hostage.

The brother of a previous owner covets the casino -- and covets Sam, his former sister-in-law. Meanwhile, Delinda has dinner with the current owner (Tom Selleck); she also plans a party for Mike.

Also, there's a wedding and singer James Blunt appears.
