I'm glad I DVR'd this episode. I eneded up fast forwarding through most of it.

This show seems to have hit a wall for me; what used to be an hour of dumb fun is getting tedious. The storylines are way too recycled for the 4th season - last week's "exhibit at the Montecito get stolen" felt stale since it feels like they've done it many times before and next week's "Montecito has a new owner" isn't promising to break that.

Since this show moved to fridays (with the exeption of the season 3) the show hasn't been as entertaining.
this weeks episode was actually better than the past few weeks, i liked the ED back problem storyline exept for Sandra Bernhardt being the maid. Niki Cox, is not being used very well as a cast member her and james if they left it would be a big shock cause they arn't being used well. Niki is on the boarderline of being a useless character. it doesn't help that this show always gets beat in the ratings by close to boring. it still is the best show on fridays no matter how bad LV gets. |
Definitely not a fun episode, but it wasn't horrible. I recognized Inara right away, but she did look different.

Las Vegas Season 5 a go...
http://www.zap2it.com/tv/news/zap-nb...p-tv-headlines
Another Season for 'Vegas,' Baby NBC renews Friday staple for 2007-08 February 27, 2007 The cards have come up in favor of "Las Vegas" extending its life on NBC. The network has picked up the show for the 2007-08 season. That will be its fifth season and should get the series to the holy-grail mark of 100 episodes, the benchmark for viability in syndication. "The cast and producers have consistently given us what we want from 'Las Vegas' -- pure entertainment -- and we're looking forward to another fun ride next season with the show," NBC Entertainment chief Kevin Reilly says. "Las Vegas" becomes the fifth show NBC has ordered for next season, along with "Heroes," "Law & Order: SVU," "My Name Is Earl" and "The Office." The series will end its slightly abbreviated fourth season (17 episodes) on Friday, March 9. The show has been a steady performer for the network on Friday nights, averaging 9 million viewers and a respectable 2.8 rating among adults 18-49 this season. Its 18-49 number ranks first in its time period. spoiler about the finale: Spoiler:
I'm happy about this since its one of my guilty pleasures. EDIT TO ADD SPOILER TAG. sorry about that folks. I didn't even think about it when I posted. sorry it took so long as I took off right after I posted this. |
Good, I'm happy now beacuse I was worried that it wouldn't be around next season.

Fantastic news! Now I wonder if NBC will actually open up their checkbook and give Vegas at least 22 episodes instead of 17 they gave us this season.

Not just one, but a couple! Dickfaces. |
well thank god i glazed over the initial post. I never watch this show when it airs but i always buy the dvd's.
|
Can't believe the season ends on March 9, although I was aware it was a short season. That flew by. It's been okay this year - nothing special except for the chicks making out.
|
I didn't realize this was a short season. That makes me sad.
I think Las Vegas may be one of the best shows on television. Not "best" in the sense of "highest quality," or "destined to live through the ages," but this show knows what it wants to do and does it extremely well. It doesn't suffer from pretensions of being great literature, nor does it try to shake up its formula. It's just week after week of sexy bodies and ridiculous plots. |

Yes! Great news! Too bad no more Dean Cain though... |
best news i have heard in awhile.
very Smart move by NBC, this show is coming in #2 in the ratings on fridays getting beat by close to home but the ratings for the show are still good and does really well in the 18-49 demo so i am glad to see NBC renew this great show. i think this show will pick up in quality again in s5 and will be back to greatness like the first 3 seasons. the season 4 cliffhanger sounds great, and like others i hope it gets a 22 episode season unstead of a short 17 episode season that we got for this season. now all NBC has to do is renew 'Scrubs' & '30 Rock' for another seasons & i will be one happy son of a Bitch! |
"Lez Vegas" returns! Maybe Nessa will come back! ;) |
