NBC: the new FOX.

I just find it really interesting that NBC went from the #1 network to the #3 (sometimes #4 dependong on how good of a week FOX is having), in a little less than three years...

That sucks. I was looking forward to watching both shows this morning. When I checked my DVR only Las Vegas was recorded and when I went to play it, it was that stupid 1 vs 100 show. I really hope both shows come back soon. They are two of my favorites.

As much as I love this show, and tonight was rather good, I'm just afraid this will end up being the last season. This dreaded Friday night, and up against my other fav Battlestar Galatica. Oh well, maybe NBC wont kill it.

Damn it. Forgot to set the DVR for it. Is it available on NBC.com or do I have to get it by other means?

This season opener was literally all over the place.

Sam in jail with the other female draped over her was a hilarious sight.

Is Janet the inside tapper? She's a cutie.

I sort of enjoyed the 10-minute Jewel promo segment at the end.

I taped, but have not watched it yet.

I wonder how the writers will write out Dean Cain? I had heard he wasn't coming back this season besides the opener. :(

As far as I know, it's been doing just fine on Friday night. If I remember correctly, the numbers last season were pretty good. Am I missing something?

I agree - this episode was all over the place.

What was the deal with the flash-drive? Where did it come from?

I guess I was worried about the less episodes ordered this season.

yeah kinda disappointed Dean Cain may be gone. Was he even in tonights ep, looked like a body double? Just remember Casey being rushed away so fast. And now hes in hiding, cause he is afraid of being kidnapped :(

I don't get why Mary is all pissy, wasn't she the one who broke it off with Danny last year?

way too much jewel in this episode.. it was like 15 min of her singing

I liked the episode, but the pacing was off... There seemed to be 10 different plots going on at the same time.



Also, seemed a little over the top that Mary was so pissed. A little is OK but makes her look overly bitter. Hopefully they don't drag that on for too long...

Good episode....I wonder if most of the episodes budget went to paying Jewel's royalties?

Sam cracks me up every time she's on screen. Not only is she gorgeous, but she has really good comic timing.

She had almost 20 minutes to promote her music with that montage, I doubt they had to pay her much of anything.

I was impressed with Jewel's new stuff. It really added to everything that was going on...loved it. Since when did she go electric? I haven't been paying attention to her for a long time.

Overall, one of the better episodes I've seen in a long while. Didn't care for most of Season 3...glad this one is kicking off with some story arcs.

Now I wonder what's the likelihood that NBC will order more than 18 episodes if the numbers continue to be solid as they were on the premiere?

I will be happy if we get 18...considering that these days the networks are axe happy.
