No teams have ever cheated on the game itself (as mentioned above, neither Nancy/Emily or Heather/Eve intentionally cheated), but a number of times teams have tried to "cheat" other teams, through wrong directions, witholding info, etc. As the title is undoubtedly spoken by one team about another, I imagine it is the result of a similar situation.

Hey, it's a race, and karma does have a way of biting you in the butt (Josh letting the air traffic dude ahead of the NFL wives).

Amanda has got one of the filthiest mouths for a reality TV contestant...I love it!)

I couldn't believe the Air Traffic guys perservered with Dave mucking up his right knee.

This is a humbling race.

Josh's "I don't want those blondes with the fake tits to ...win" comment was classic. Jaree's comment about quitting smoking was also LOL.

The Clowns showing up with their clown noses at the final pitstop was also funny.

Chuck needs to **** or get off the pot (the virgin couple going on 12 years of relationship).

You have to wonder if the NFL wives would have beaten the last team had they not taken the fast forward. BTW, one of the wives is the wife of Ray Buchanan of the Atlanta Falcons. I didn't quite recognize the other husband.

Great show. Good to see what appeared to be the worst team get booted. Liked the fake tits line as well. A couple of teams seem ripe to get eliminated, so the next few weeks might be obvious...

I like how every time, under their names, they kept putting DATING 12 YEARS/VIRGINS!

Well, tonight was no big surprise. I knew "Team Staypuft" was gone as soon as they showed them.

I also caught the "Flo" remark from Chris, although from what I saw tonight there are two "Flos" on that team. I hearby dub them "Team F-Bomb."

who the hell uses up the Fast Forward on the VERY first episode? ESPECIALLY with 4 teams TWO hours behind you!

I also found it surprising that the wives went for the fast foward even though they were 2 hours ahead of the teams on the last bus. What a waste of their FF. But what is even more surprising is that none of the teams on the last bus even considered going for it. I thought the married couple would surely go for it and be in for big disappointment to find it already gone.

That football wives don't deserve to win, they're already set for life, they don't need the money. Hope they go next. The models would be nice for looks if they stayed on a bit, but then they weren't the best looking models anyway.

I agree, their husbands probably make at least a million a year, they shouldn't win (and probably won't).

Did that guy just say "COME ON FLO!" To Amanda? (So that means this was probably taped after the showing of Amazing Race 3, so sometime earlier this year. The weather was gorgeous here when they filmed. But you out of towners don't get any ideas about moving here. We already have to much traffic and the weather is only that nice about 2 days a year )


And I cannot believe the mouth on Amanda. I don't like that couple because of her mouth (though I was laughing when she was saying that), plus we have another husband\boyfriend that belittles their significant other. I can't stand that.

The Staypuft Team had to go. But you could tell that they were really in love with each other. And hey she got to do things that she would never have done. Now when they get home, they have got to get into better shape or they will both be dead within 5 years.

It felt good to see this show again. Damn CBS for holding it out this long, but I'm also glad it's on during the summer, so that it gives us some quality television to watch.

IIRC, Rob & Brennan used the Fast Forward on the first leg of the race -- and they ended up the eventual winners! Still, they're probably the exception to the rule.

The use of the FF by the NFL Wives doesn't make sense, since they knew that 4 teams were still 2 hours behind them. From the comments they made, they were obviously hoping that the FF would boost them into 1st, but all they got out of it was 4th (up from a possible 8th). It'll help keep them alive a while longer, but will probably turn out to be a bad move in the long run.

I was also surprised that no one on the last bus tried for the FF. If I were one of them, I probably would've (since I wouldn't have expected anyone from the first 2 busses to have gone for it.)

Overall, it was a pretty good first episode. As always, it's a little hard to keep the teams straight (especially the several young male/female couples). I particularly loved the chaos at the start in L.A. and at LAX. (Hey, it's where I live & work.)

And the twist with the charter bus tickets was pretty cool: In the past, it's always been first come/first served. I liked it that some of the teams with a flight advantage ended up on on a later bus.

However, I think the bus departure times were too staggered. Since there was relatively little to do after the bus ride, it ultimately turned this leg into a race between the teams on the last bus. And even those that weren't eliminated are now a good 4 hours behind the leaders.

Glad that Debra & Steve were eliminated. They seemed like a nice enough couple, but they were obviously out of their league in the race. (Did anyone count how many times they fell down?) And I'll be very surprised if the Air Traffic Controllers make it very far for the same reason.

There are a lot of good teams this time and a few bad ones who will hopefully get eliminated soon.

Team Fat & Fatter had to go they were awful.
It's such a waste of chance for some contestants who actually have a chance to win.

Same thing with the 2 air traffic controllers, NFL wifes and 2 models. They should be the next 3 to go.

The NFL wives had to use the FF because they were the last ones to leave on the last bus. You hate to use the FF on the 1st show but it's better than being eliminated on the 1st show.
They won't last long.

I liked Team Clowns andSteve & Josh.
Millie & Chuck and Amanda & Chris both looked pretty good.
Amanda sounds like a truck driver.

Can't wait for the next show !
