Amazing Race 4 5/29 premier. Teams announced!
nothing official from CBS, but it appears that a May 29 date is all but assured:

But did you guys read the post? An hour-and-a-half of just introducing the racers. The actual first leg doesn't start until the next episode. Not sure what I think about that.

I'd LOVE to learn more about the racers ahead of time. Survivor does it and it's always a great insight into the contestants. Of course I have to remind myself that TAR and Survivor are totally different and are edited completely different too. I've always noticed that TAR doesn't trick you with editing like Survivor. Not to mention it TOTALLY ROCKS!

My biggest complaint about TAR is that we don't see enough interaction between the contestants. It gets better as time goes by and people get eliminated, but it's more interesting when you have a handle on the personalities that are involved.
The introduction show indicates to me that the producers are trying to remedy this. Step in the right direction, if you ask Groucho.

I guess hopefully since there are less options during the summer, AR will have bigger ratings.
