Yeah, I guess already having HULU doesn't help. Seeing some of the same shows on both apps brings to mind that annoying 90's buzzword we heard a lot from Disney and other businesses at the time. "Synergy".... sigh

Yeah it's even worse now that they've forced the ESPN+ crap into the Disney+ app.

Inside Out 2 was 103 days, Deadpool & Wolverine was 109 days, so this seems typical of the past year.

Re: Disney+ streaming service

Is that from release date or from when it was fully out of theaters? Does anything ever have a definitve "I'm not in theaters anymore" date, these days?

The Tiana Disney+ series that was based on The Princess and the Frog was scrapped by Disney

Apparently they were in production, so it gets shut down.

Yeah, kudos to Disney for keeping films in theaters longer. I remember when Musafa: The Lion King opened at $34 million and everyone was saying it was a flop. Well, still in theaters and has a global total of over $700 million now.

Sorry, but why praise a bad sequel with mediocre songs just because it made a lot of money?
My respect goes to parents who took their kids to see Flow in a theater instead.

If it helps keep the lights projectors on in theaters, I'll allow it.

Re: Disney+ streaming service

I know there was a lot of controversy over it because Disney removed references to a character being trans, but I thought "Win or Lose" by Pixar, which just aired it's final episodes this week, was great. Each episode being a different character's point of view and everyone having visual representations of their emotional states and differing animation styles to present them was a cool idea.

Simpsons 24/7

"Disney+ has launched a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week dedicated stream of all 35 completed seasons of the iconic animated series The Simpsons. All 767 episodes have been programmed to run on the stream in chronological order, taking approximately 300 continuous hours to complete each full cycle. "

Re: Disney+ streaming service

Probably excluding the Michael Jackson episode. I’ve been going through all the Simpsons episodes on disc and will take over on digital once I get past season 20, unless by some miracle more seasons come out on disc by then.

About damn time! I hope removing it from continue watching also stops the corresponding emails!

I’ve had the GotG Christmas Special stuck in continue watching for months. Disney+ has emailed me multiple times to pick up where I was watching.

Oh. Ok. I had about 20 unfinished shows on one profile and I never received email reminders.

Yeah I don't know either... I thought it was weird. My Apple TV app hasn't updated yet but it did on my phone. I wiped out a bunch of stuff finally.

Hopefully this also means they will add the feature to Hulu.
