Re: Disney+ streaming service

It's kind of crazy that I can go on Disney+ and watch Fight Club now. Good thing I don't have young kids using it on their own. I'm guessing Disney+ has some parental control options to keep little kids out of stuff like that for those that need it.

Yes, there are parental controls and kids profiles.

Which kinda suck, to be honest. My kids want to watch something like Big City Greens, not all episodes are on their account so they end up using mine all the time. And if you truly want to lock them out of your profile you'll have to set a PIN that you input whenever you go to your account.

Young kids don't want to watch a 25 year old drama movie. They are too busy watching YouTube videos.

Re: Disney+ streaming service

Disney+ add a Perks page for special offers. There's stuff like sweepstakes, Disney World hotel discounts, 15% Off at the Funko and LoungeFly websites, 20% Off at Adidas, 6-Months of DoorDash DashPass, etc.

I guess it doesn't work if you have the bundle. Must be a D+ only sub.

I have the bundle through Verizon, and I can get it.

Forget Fight Club, wait until kiddies stumble across Anora.

I just have the Max/D+/Hulu but not through anyone.

Logged in and clicked on the offer and it said I needed to have a D+ sub

I checked and Anora is there, but there is some Unlock button on it. Saw that on a bunch of other movies too. Some other movies were "from Hulu" but didn't have the Unlock button on them. So what's the deal? Will they charge me something extra if I unlock any of these movies?

You need an active Hulu subscription that is linked to your Disney+ account in order to access that Hulu content. Otherwise you won’t be able to watch it.

Re: Disney+ streaming service

If anyone is interested, Perks has a 21 digital comic collection from Marvel.
Click on Discover (or go here: https://perks.disneyplus.com/en_us/discover) and scroll through until you see it.
You should be able to sign into Marvel with the same Disney account if you don't have one already.

I saw it on Reddit, so get the code now if you want it.

Awesome sauce, had no clue that I had perks waiting for me to redeem. Grabbed the digital comic bundle.

Free D23 Gold Membership for D+ subscribers. That's not bad for free.

Re: Disney+ streaming service

LILO and Stitch will be on Disney+ September 3.

It’s the only billion dollar movie from the summer. It was one of my favorites and I will watch it again.

Re: Disney+ streaming service

Quality from Hulu has often been a bit lacking, but checked out the new Match Game just for the hell of it and it’s in beautiful 60fps. Don’t know if they’ve migrated everything to the same system, Disney’s mostly been good with proper frame rates on recent material at least.

Of course they are... that will teach the peasants to protest their decisions.

Cue Verizon plan price increase by the end of the year to compensate.

Yep...."We have no choice but to raise prices! Subscriber numbers are down." The old cable/sat TV strategy.
Making it easier to stay unsubscribed.

Yeah I am not sure how much longer VZ is going to eat the cost of the D+ bundle.
