Re: Disney+ streaming service
I like Disney+ and I'm glad we got that 3-year subscription right at the start, what a deal.

Re: Disney+ streaming service
Looks like Disney+ pummeled HBO Max in terms of downloads over the Christmas holiday. 2.3 million vs 544k downloads respectively.

I didn't know this until the weekend, but apparently Cinderella 2015 with Lily James was removed from the service back in October. It got brought in September and then was removed sometime in October.
No one seems to know the reason why.

According to JustWatch, Cinderella is streaming on Sling TV. Maybe it was part of some previous deal?

It was just posted on The Muppets Facebook Page that all five seasons of The Muppet Show are coming to Disney Plus on February 19th. The question will be if they are presented uncut and in their original form.

I bought the DVD set from Time Life, I think it was 10 discs. I'm happy to see them coming to Disney+, and all episodes.

Re: Disney+ streaming service
Who the hell analyzes frame rates for something that aired 44 years ago on old standard definition TV?

I think he means the OAR as the show was shown 1.33:1 and shouldn't be cropped and stretched to fill widescreen tvs.

This clip has nothing to do with Disney or the Muppets, but can you tell the difference between this version:

Re: Disney+ streaming service
I wonder if that comes from cramming 29.97 fps content on a 24/30 fps platform.

Re: Disney+ streaming service
Disney+ has launched an ad-free bundle with Hulu and ESPN+ for $18.99 per month. Any new subscriber is eligible for the bundle, but only those who currently have a standalone Disney+, ad-supported Hulu, or ESPN+ account can go the upgrade route (sorry, current bundle subscribers).

So I'm guessing if you're locked into a non bundled subscription you can't just pay the difference to get the new bundle.

Re: Disney+ streaming service
I was finally able to give a Disney Plus subscription a try and I must say I've had a lot of fun watching what's on it. I signed up for a month so I could watch The Mandalorian and I'm at episode four of the first season. It's what I imagined Star Wars should be after Disney bought it. I'm kind of shocked none of the Ernest moves are available and I look forward to watching the Muppet Show.

I guess you’re saying none of them Are available. Anyway I never watch a single one of those. Are they a Disney property?

The Ernest movies are Buena Vista Titles so yes they are owned by Disney.
