I get that.
Not everything on CW streaming is on CW Seed. There are some things on CW app/website that are not currently airing CW shows.
And it likely will be edited for content. Airing it is odd though as it has already came out on Blu-ray and DVD.

If some network tries to license Titans, which I don't think will happen, they will have to edit the shit out of it, It's weekly R rated TV.
Stargirl is making a relatively smooth transition as that has been pretty much promoted as a family friendly super hero show.
No chance in hell Doom Patrol gets licensed because it has a deal with HBO Max and that launches in 16 days.

Keep NC Film just posted:
Edited for TV. #SwampThing gets it's season run on CW Network.
The ad revenue should help out that $80 million plus price tag.
DC Universe app struggling.

DC Universe's digital comic readership is up 35% between February and April.
The library is going to expand to over 23,000 this month.
So maybe there is still an audience for this service. But it seemed like for this forum specifically the majority never touched the digital comics.

I used to hate the idea of reading a comic on my IPAD but honestly, I started to like it and enjoyed being able to read a comic anywhere I went. Thats why I think this app is so cool. You have access to old DC shows, DC Comics and new shows as well. It's a pretty good value(far better than Marvel unlimited which only has comics) but people were more interested in going "LOL DC UNIVERSE APP SUCKS!!!!!!"

I'm not even sure how they're advertising this service at this point, I don't think I've seen a commercial, at least not for a very long time, and if they're advertising in comics, well I don't pick up floppies...

I guess they started a rewards program (which you need to sign up for separately) where you get points for watching or reading things:

When I had DC Universe, I watched it semi-regularly. I really liked it when Tiffany Smith was hosting.
However, I can understand why some may not have liked it and thought it was fluff.

I didn't hate it, I mean extra content is extra content, but as someone who is not completely following the comics day and date a lot of it just didn't interest me. Loved the McFarlane interview about the toys, though. I still like it better than whatever game shows they have now, which I haven't even touched.

When they tried to stay topical, I enjoyed the interviews with the cast of Titans, the DC CW shows etc. However, they went away from that and kept their shows fairly generic and mostly reviewed old movies and shows.

You can add HBO Max for 4.99 a month if you're a DC U subscriber.
Would make more sense the other way around (especially with Harley going to Max soon), but I'm not a bean counter there so who knows what they're doing?

That makes no sense. It should have been the other way around.
WB seems pretty desperate to try to keep DCU from going under.

Remember, this Friday is the final episode of DC Daily. It was filmed weeks ago. They are supposedly making it their final goodbye and bring back some old faces. It's going to suck that it's still a fucking remote show.
It will also be available on the DC YouTube page.

Re: DC Universe streaming service
We've got 6 months left to our term so this is tempting. It would be a sure thing if we had a way to watch HBO Max as we have a Roku and an LG TV. Neither of which have an app yet or have any likelihood of getting one soon.

Stargirl will no longer air on DC Universe. It was picked up for a 2nd season by The CW and will be exclusive to them next season.
The only live action exclusive original show they have left now is Titans and they haven't even began production of their 3rd season yet due to the pandemic. It would not surprise me if Titans eventually moves to HBO Max,
It just doesn't make any sense to keep DC Universe up as a video streaming service now. Hell, they even cancelled the super cheap DC Daily.

Sounds like I made the right idea to cancel my sub last week.
